I bought this to help get my grandfather's desktop back online. It did not work for me, however it may have been an issue with the computer, or the wifi router. I ended up returning this adapter.

I recently moved and need to set up my desk top computer. I did want it where the phone jack was located. I didn't want to pay $85. to add a jack. I used the wireless adapter and now I can put it where I want, as long as it can reach the electrical plug. It's worked great. It only took a few minutes to set it up.

Worked perfectly within minutes of loading software

I bought this for use at my office. It drops signal from one end of the office to the other, which I expected. After all, you get what you paid for. But when it started dropping the signal while I was sitting at my desk, I knew it was time to return it for something else.

My desktop doesn't have WiFi built in so I need something to connect my desktop to wifi. This works. I had a little trouble at the beginning, where I had to keep reinstalling every time I wanted to use the Internet. But I haven't had to do that lately.

This device works fairly well needs to be unplugged

I use this network adapter as an auxiliary device for my laptops. The signal reception in this adapter works better than most laptop and tablet internal adapters. However, this unit does stick out of a usb port, and can be awkward. Overall I am pleased with this device.

Netgear or the brand I use the older model until it kind of became Obsolete and it still work but wanted to upgrade get a newer one so I did and it works awesome just as expected and how can you go wrong shopping with Best Buy if something's wrong with it they return it

Nothing special here, just a basic wireless card. I don't use the netgear software and only use Windows to manage wireless networks. The included USB extension cable is nice to get it to a physical position for a good signal.

We tried this wireless adapter as an option to see why we were not getting a signal to our computer.As it worked out the problem we were having had nothing to do with the signal so we returned it to Best Buy for a full refund.

This purchase was the result of a geek squad solution to a problem of my laptop not automatically or regularly linking to wi-fi. Extra thanks to Travis geek (I feel badly calling him that, but he assured me he is okay with the title)- problem solved

This item worked as advertised. It connected to the wireless network without any fuss or without installing or trying to install useless software. Unfortunately my son decided that when his computer stopped working the wireless USB just had to go with it.
