Followed instructions, plugged in, worked for a few minutes then wouldn't work. Tried everything I could find and nothing would make it work. Bought a non netgear one and it worked great. Had to return.

Easy to install. My computer was an order computer sometimes it was hard to connect to the internet, ended up just replacing the computer, but the wireless adapter seemed to work well.

Could not believe that my new computer had no wifi connection. This product was the least complicated system around. It does use one of my computers USB ports and it was a little pricey but it does beat opening the computer and installing a board.

My computer did not have a wireless card, so I purchased this product at the same time as my computer. Downloaded drivers on a wired connection, plugged it in, and worked like a charm. Have not had any issues thus far.

I bought this to be a temporary solution until I could restore a wired connection. It worked fine, but the speed wasn't the best. Overall, I'd say get it, but there are faster options.

I bought this unit when I relocated my PC Tower in the house and could no longer hard plug into the modem. This product works as stated and I would recommend it to a friend. No complaints in the year of use.

I have a 1600 sq ft home and have my computer in the furthest spot of the home from the wifi router. This adapter takes up little space on my desk and gives me full bars. Netgear products have never let me down.

Had to return for the next one up because it wasn't fast enough for what I needed. I'd say it's okay for just web stuff but not gaming.

I was having trouble getting an internet connection with an ethernet cable and the computer was not wireless capable. Using this adapter was easy from the beginning and has had no problems giving me a reliable and fast connection.

If you need something to connect a device that doesn't have built in wifi to a wifi network, & you don't want to spend a lot but still want high quality, you should buy this!

My older laptop is back up and running, connecting to the internet without problems. This was an inexpensive, and easy to install solution. The recommendation from Geek Squad to try it is much appreciated.

Doesn't always work consistently, but would work better with a newer laptop than an older one. Very easy to setup and handy for a wireless connection.

I purchased this and the router is just above the computer upstairs and i'm always losing conenction

Prior to my purchase of the Netgear N300WiFi USB Adapter, I was getting kicked off the internet everyday, multiple times. Since using this, I haven't had a problem. Very satisfied.

My internal Atheros wi-fi reader died. Tried Asus support and attempted a software update and install and reinstall to no avail. It's a great replacement when my internal Wi-Fi card reader quit working.

This is good for making basic connections but not for down and uploading. This is used basically to keep the machine updated. However, updates do take some time to install because of the speed.

Netgear N-300 is more than enough for our home and office environment. We had another brand that only lasted a year and was woefully limited in range and packet transfer. I would definitely purchase another Netgear product.

I had a problem with a computer that had an integrated WiFi card, it would detect the WiFi, however the signal was weak at best. I figured I would try an external WiFi card, and sure enough this resolved the signal issue.

I bought this for my desktop that did not have a wireless connection and is in the other side of the house than my router. Haven't had any connection issues that were related to the product.
