This USB adapter solved my problem in two minutes.

I used to use powerline adapters because I always thought wifi was inferior to an Ethernet connection. This adapter proved me wrong. My speed has doubled and the connection is always solid.

I bought it to make a desk top wireless was easy to set up once I DOWN LOAD THE WINDOWS 8 SOFTWARE CUSTOMER SUPPORT WAS GOOD BUT PHONE LINE WAS BAD HAD TO CALL 2 TIMES. RANGE AND SPEED ARE GOOD

Easy plug in and go wireless fun! We are big time gamers in this house and we are all using the same product on our desktops. No lag, no drop outs. We have high speed wireless available in the house.

The internal network card in my wife computer stopped working so I checked out reviews on wireless adapters and this one showed up with hi marks. I followed the instructions plugged in to the usb port and all was well again. Well worth the cost if you have built in network card failure.

This was my first experience with a dual band wireless USB Adapter and I'm not a Techie--unfortunately! My first complaint is that it comes with a CD with the drivers and info, but my computer doesn't have a CD drive. It didn't provide any info on where I could go to install without the CD. When I did get it installed, and Comcast's equipment allowed, I was getting incredible speeds on the internet--like up to 150 whatevers. But, this adapter has a conflict of some sort with my computer, so until I figure that out, I can't use it...But I know it will be awesome when all is taken care of!

This device is small and functions extremely well. People who need a wireless adapter for their desktop will be impressed that their CPUs web surfing, emailing, streaming, and game playing is un-hindered by the use of this device rather than a direct Ethernet connection. Well worth the investment. One piece of advice is read the installation instructions carefully or have a knowledgable/experienced technophile does your installation.

The only complaint I had was that I had a conflict with Skype software when installing it. I had to call customer service to find out I had to disable Skype. When I did that, the installation was fine. If I had known that Skype could interfere, I would not have had to make a call.

I haven't had any problems with the product. It prevented me having to run wires to new computer. We didn't have a data line at spot of computer so the wireless adapter worked wonderfully.

This was a great option for me to connect my daughter's older computer to our wireless router. Installation was a breeze and performance is solid.

I purchased this after talking to the salesperson in the store. He recommended this particular brand, saying that they communicate in the store using the Netgear device and that it worked well. Got it home and it does work well! Very pleased with his purchase.

So far this thing is working great. I have it hooked up to my px upstairs with my router downstairs and connectivity is fast and smooth. Easy install right out of the box.

I purchased this adapter for my wife's laptop because her internal WiFi card was unable to receive a 5 ghz signal. This laptop has the Windows 10 operating system and upon my initial installation I was unable to receive a 5 ghz signal, only 2.5 ghz. I quickly learned that a software update was needed for Windows 10. After downloading and installing that software update from Netgear, the device worked fine and I was able to receive the 5 ghz signal. The device itself has an elegant profile and small footprint on the desk.

My computer doesn't have built in wireless. so i use to have a little USB adapter i didn't get good reception or good speed with it. this boosted everything and now no lag on online gaming and im on the edge of our wifi too. best one for the price too.

Great wifi USB adapter. Plugs into USB port on laptop or can be extended on a USB cable and cradle include. Which is the way I use it at work. With the included cable I can position it in my window sill at work so I can connect to the free Home Depot Wifi. Which I'm guessing is 150 yards away from my guard shack office at work. Keeps me connected to the internet all night long. The built in wifi on my HP laptop kept disconnecting during my work shift and I would have to position the laptop in one certain sot to stay connected. Not anymore! This Netgear adapter is terrific. Love it!!!

I was running a desktop on an older, lesser version of a Netgear product that provided minimal capabilities given the Internet speed provided by my cable company. After the simple installation of this N900, Internet speed improved dramatically.

I had a previous, similar devise that lasted over 3 years but finally gave out. In a panic I rushed to my local Best Buy and was assisted by a very knowledgeable associate who helped me select the device especially for my needs, Great Job Best Buy!!!

Works great to convert a standard computer to pick up wi-fi. Easy and fast setup process. Has not given any problems even with several other devices on wi-fi still fast downloads.
