This device great if you have a custom built computer without built in internet. I haven't played games with it. But when you want to download stuff and watch movies it's not bad.

I bought this to replace my aging Linksys adapter.....it's being used on my parents Dell computer. I have an Apple Router(not the new one),and this adapter works well with my parents PC. It was very easy to set up-you put in the CD,and just follow the directions-don't worry I'm not a techie so anyone can set it up. The router is on a third floor,and the adapter is on the second floor.....the reception(internet signal)is great on the PC. I would recommend this adapter to anyone.

Have yet to have any issues with this and its been over 6 months. Fast speed and great reliability.

This adapter works perfectly for my custom pc as its sleek design allows it to fit in even the smallest of places. It's a must if you like wifi or looking for a budget high quality adapter.

This item is great if you don't own a laptop. Picks up Wifi signal very easily. Simple to install and use.

Its a good wifi adapter, poor design, very easily broken with a wrong push or child.

The WLAN adapter gets good reception and throughput. If you install this adapter on a PC running Windows 8.1 you will only get the 2.4 GHz band to work unless you install the latest driver directly from the Mediatek (Ralink) website. Once you install that driver, you will get reception on both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands. Adapter is vented to reduce heat, but its large size takes up (partially blocks) an adjacent USB port

Got this wireless router for my laptop the internal one goes out to frequently and bought this item to fix the problem. Problem is fixed and now don't loose internet connection.

I built a new system to be used as an entertainment center. After adding the tuner, video cards, and so forth, I noticed that I was running low on slots. I really wanted an internal wireless adapter, but didn't want to use up the remaining slots. I've tried several different wireless adapters in the past. This one is GREAT! I plugged it into my laptop and tried it throughout the house and yard. It held a strong signal regardless of were I went.

Provides the ability to connect wirelessly from my desktop. Super easy to install.

When we first had Time Warner install internet capability (we previously used another ISP), we had to put one desktop on wireless because no cable connection was easily accessible to its location. That meant that the desktop would no longer be connected via Ethernet cable. Performance became huge issue. And T-W could offer no solution other than to go buy an adapter for the desktop. This was the product we bought and it works VERY well.

This is a great adapter when you're in a pinch. But, do not allow Windows 10 to automatically update the drivers. It caused a little bit of a headache. Great price too.

Ease of installation and speed is wonderful. I would buy this again. Thank goodness I won't have to.
