This product works well when the driver loads. Seems like any software update to computer or sometimes when the computers is restarted the driver refuses to load. Now it is a ritual to reinstall the driver software on a weekly basis. I am running windows 8.1 . I spent hours online with Netgear to get the drivers to load for the first time.They had me load and reload a couple of different drivers until as if by magic it started to work.The only reason I needed to move to the 5gig band was because of a major clash with the 2.4 gig band and some wireless cameras. When I have the time I will contact Netgear again and see if they have a solution for the the driver issue.

The internal Wi-Fi adapter failed on a critical laptop. I purchased this unit in a pinch and it has been working great ever since. Speed and connection reliability are both excellent.

We are very happy with the adaptor so we can get our wireless working well from our desktop! We like the updated Netgear Router that we bought the adaptor for.....works really well for our purposes!

I needed a new adapter for my computer and the Netgear adapter has done a great job. There have been a few dropped internet issues but I believe it is my ISP and not the NetGear. The setup was simple.

This is a top notch product for wireless networking. It is simple as plug and play for the most part with Windows 7 or better OS. Very stable connection when used for gaming which is a winner for me!

This is plugged into my computer upstairs and my router is downstairs. No loss of speed or connection at all. Works just like I'm plugged in. Definitely recommend this product

Easy to set up. I moved my home office from one room to another which had no cat 5 wiring. This device saved me from drilling holes and pulling over a 100 feet of wire, love it.

This did the job for me. I do wish the cord on the station was a bit longer, but used this with a desktop in a remote location and had solid signal from the wifi.

I was using a powerline adapter to connect to the internet. I was only getting about 1/4 the speed that my internet provider said I should be receiving. After several weeks of frustrating tech conversations my provider said that there was nothing wrong on their end. I decided to go wireless and purchased this adapter. I plugged it into my computer, selected my WIFi SID entered my password and I was connected at over 100 mbps downloads. I've been using the adapter for about 2 months now and haven't dropped a connection yet. Great product.

Great use it on my desktop with a hotspot while waiting on real internet. I have even been playing MRPGs with it with no lag.

I bought this usb adapter to replace a power line adapter that stopped working. So far no drop off in speeds and no problems with disconnects.
