||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With my new HP PhotoSmart 7520 all-in-one printer, the Netgear Wi-Fi adapter was not needed although my PC was not wireless. I'd recommend anyone purchasing the printer ask if Wi-Fi adapter is needed before making purchase. I'm sure it works great if it is needed. Best Buy will refund unopened package if necessary and gladly refunded my money after I found I didn't need this product. Love Best Buy!

A great fix for the limitations of your laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This isn't exactly plug and play, especially on Win8, but once I hooked it up to my wife's HP laptop and its somehow "capped" wifi of 70 Mbps even when it's right next to the router, this allowed her laptop to get a reliable 300 Mbps from across the house (1500 sq ft, 1 floor). If you have a laptop that somehow can't do the full speed advertised by the specs, this will help a lot.

The computer I am using this with is about 40' away and generally picks up the signal well. Connection is often delayed, but rarely lost entirely. Works well for the price.
