    We got it to replace the builtin WiFi on a desktop, our apartment seems to be having issues with the 2.4 range and the old card could only do that. Installed quickly and immediately we saw a huge improvement. now my son can play online games with no lag or latency, which is impressive for an external USB WiFi adapter

    I purchased this dual band adapter for my desktop PC so I could take advantage of the 5 GHz band on my router. I already have a lot of home devices using the 2.4 GHz band so the periodic heavy use of my desktop can run free and clear on its own. The provided software interface is simple but useful.
