This is a great device for 40mbps internet connectivity. We recently upgraded from about 5mbps if we were lucky to greatly improved speed and the old Wi-Fi adapter was clipping out all the time. We plugged this in and were amazed at how well it works. This is a good one.

I bought this to help my next door neighbor, she was having problem with her router's Ethernet connection. Followed the instructions and was easy to install and setup. Speed was as fast as the Ethernet, solved her problem.

caught in a bind, internet outlet was accross the room with a door in between, couldn't run a cable that far or around the door., so the wireless adapter was just what was needed. worked great!

I bought this wireless adapter so I could move my old Windows XP computer to a different room when I got a new computer. It was easy to install, butit keeps dropping the connection about oncea day. The Netgear tech took over my computer and found that the XP computer requres a "MEP security" connection, wheras my router is set for "Mixed Security" connection which is required for my Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers. I guess I have to live with dropped connections

Bought this to replace one model down (can't remember the model number, but it's the 300 Mbps model) when I moved into a bigger place, and it works great for what I need. I work from home occasionally and I need a good network connection when I do.

This was exactly what we needed to make an old laptop usable. One of our good laptops died and we put into service a much older one temporarily. But it had no way to connect to WIFI wirelessly so this little gem solved the problem.

IT WORKS GREAT, BUT ONE TIME IT LOST CONNECTION that is why I gave It four star. FOR MOST PART IT IS A GREAT WIRELESS CONNECION FOR THE MONEY. The customer service was very helpful in helping me to buy this.

I was very please with the price of this device and the ease to load the info, I was also very happy with the help i received while in the store and the great customer service at check out. Have always had a great experience with BEST BUY.

I hadn't ever used a NetGear product before I purchased this, so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I bought it anyway and I couldn't be happier. It's a great product and I haven't had any issues with it.

Initially didn't connect- but eventually connection worked and now comes on every time. 3rd one i bought- wish I had gone to BB and for this in the first place!

Before this I had a qwest wifi adapter which made me think my ISP was throttling our bandwidth. Now, with this I am able to experience the fantastic download speeds, and can actually do thing on the Internet.

I bought this for my teenage nephew who lives in a neighborhood with poor Internet service. There were times he couldn't stream videos or games because of lag. Oh not now! He loves me and his new " gadget"...

This is a pretty good adapter. I would only suggest that you purchase this if your computer isn't too far from your gateway. The range isn't that great. Other than that it works great.

The technician at the Geek squad was helpful trying to resolve our Wi-Fi issue and suggested we purchase the Net gear Wi-Fi device. We did the purchase, he set it up on our computer and all is well.

Performs about as well as anything else in it's category. It has a sleek design which I am fond of but as far as performance goes I can't say that I prefer it to any of its competitors.

We installed this in our desktop that is about 40' or more from the router. The speed of the internet is just as good as if the desktop was hard wired into the router.

I bought a new computer than didn't have wireless capabilities and which is mostly for gaming. I was recommended to buy this because my family watches Netflix constantly. It works well, but lags sometimes.

I purchased this because our computer's internal wireless card never worked. The set up was easy and we haven't had any problems with wireless connections since it was installed. It doesn't take up much space on the desk.

I have been using wireless adapters for years. Many of which cut out from time to time or do not provide constant sufficient speed for gaming. This product meets all expecitations for gaming and voice chatting.

My laptop was not getting a wireless signal. Wasn't quite ready to replace the computer. This great little device has bought me some time to save up to get the computer I really want.
