This N900 Dual-Band wireless usb adapter works well for my old Win XP computer. No problem accessing the internet. My modem is on the other side of the room connected to my new computer.

I purchased this product to connect a back bedroom desktop to a living room router. My house is rather long and I worried it wouldn't have the strength I needed, but it has performed without fail!

Dad's old laptop wifi connection is down. Jumped over to BB to pick up a wifi dongle - works great..! Dad is up and running again. I would recommend this product..!

I bought for my computer that doesnt have wireless internet and it works great. The speed of my computer is fast even though my router is upstairs and computer is downstairs

Couldn't get adapter to work. Was not as easy plug and play as Best Buy employee said it would. Bought it for my sister's smart tv. Disappointed it did not work.

I bought this adapter to boost the wireless signal from my att-u-verse box to my computer in another room. I now have 5 bars all the time. It is great and I highly recommend it.

Has never dropped the wifi connection since we plugged it in, several other ones we tried dropped it frequently. Super pleased with it and would recommend this to family and friends.

This product works well. MY Router is in another room about 50 feet away and we have no problem with WiFi connection.

We have 3 computers in the house and this product makes it easier to access the internet from the basement computer and the second floor computer.

Don't shoot for USB wireless, the technology isn't there yet. By default on the wireless usb stick settings is set to operate to save power, its net handling is still suffering from the 2009 issue and have to go find a fix on the deep web for it. Basically what it is that even though you already have an access point selected, your wireless attachment will still try to seek other APs and to do this it slightly interrupts your current AP that you are connected to. (Or maybe it's OS related, who knows...) If you're experiencing random disconnects it's because by default your computer has set itself to suspend USB ports that are "not in use" since your USB stick can't clearly tell the OS that it is always in use, it randomly shuts down. and disconnects you for 2 to almost 30 seconds. You would need to config this in the power settings, but by enabling all the USB ports to be turned on at once increases the draw-power and cause some weird errors with other USB devices. Really the bottom line here is that unless you have plenty of experience configuring wireless settings and messing with system setting to make your wireless connection work just "ok" then this is not for you. Go get a router or PCI wireless adapter. Or ask Rivet Networks to make a KillerNetwork wireless adapter peripheral.

I had another one that quit working, so I bought this one...very satisfied. I use it mostly when I am traveling, I travel every week and this is convenient for me.

Than the N300 and other entry level adapters. I was having issues establishing a strong connection at my office, upgraded to this adapter and problem solved.

This item filled the requirement to bypass an inoperative laptop WiFi receiver on a 8.1 "Windows machine. No driver was available for the onboard equipment. It works well.

Works how you would expect. Obviously the next higher adapter will have a better range for signal, but for the money this one works just fine.

I bought this for my old computer which I had given to my grandson to use when he comes to stay with me. It allows him to use our wifi and play games on the computer.

Purchased this for use on a custom built desktop. Was skeptical about reception, but device works flawlessly with my Netgear router. No reception problems whatsoever.

This adapter didn't work as promised, it has a hard time establishing and maintaining a connection the nighthawk r7000 when several other 2.4Ghz band adapters have no issues. I've done troubleshooting with this adapter including trying to see if it was on the nighthawk side of things, but purchased another 5Ghz wireless adapter and it worked perfectly fine.
