One of my son's computers did not have an adequate wireless card -- especially for gaming -- and his bedroom wasn't hardwired. We bought the NETGEAR product and it seems to do a very nice job of bringing in the signal.

I had my wireless router hooked up in the upstairs of my house. The computer I had downstairs was older and without a way to connect wirelessly. This adapter allowed me to have internet on this old computer and works well

Glad to find out that there is a product like this, easy to install and setup. I would definitely recommend this. I used this on a pc I just bought, when I found out it didn't have a wireless adapter I used this. Took like 5 minutes

The NETGEAR - IEEE 802.11n USB - Wi-Fi Adapter works as advertised. The adapter is extremely easy to setup and use. I don't broadcast my SID and manual configuration was very easy. I purchased this device to replace a Powerline Network Adapter. The Powerline device would randomly loose connectivity but since replacing it with the NetGear WiFi Adapter I have not had any further issues with dropped network connections. I could have chose a PCI Wireless adapter but I found that the USB Wireless adapter simply offered the least amount of effort to setup.

I was looking for a new wifi usb adapter for some light gaming. I wasnt expecting much from it since ive had bad experiences with diffrent usb adapters so my hopes werent high for this one. However when i got home and installed it i was blown away. My wifi no longer disconnected, i was able to download my game that normally takes hours to download, within 15 minutes. My internet speed is super fast and it updates itself when there is a needed update. And it was at a reasonable price. I highly reccommend this.

This USB adapter is installed in my desktop PC with Windows 7 Pro. It works well, through 5 or 6 walls, across a distance of about 40 feet. It picks up a signal strength of 4 out of 5 bars with that set-up.

I love this wireless adapter it works good with my router, their the same brand, Net Gear. I like the fact that I can move my computer anywhere and connect. without wires. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

This unit far exceeded my expectations. Very easy to install. Unlike a previous adapter the N900 found my 5g network without a problem and handles the high speed internet connection like a champ. Highly recommend.

I was having an intermittent problem with my wireless network adapter on my older W7 laptop. I purchased this Netgear device, at the suggestion of the Best Buy salesman. It worked perfectly for me and setup was easy.

This product is just what I needed for my old, (2006) PC that was not wireless. Now I can have my computer and desk where ever I want in my office without being tethered to the modem and router! Hooray for me.

Easy to install, I have a large house, 2 desktops upstairs using a wireless router. Bought a new PC for my downstairs, wasn't getting strong enough connection. This solved my problem, strong signal all the time now.

Spoke to the one of the Geek Squad guys about the problem with the mother board on my gaming desktop. He suggested I try this product and it works great - and much cheaper than having the mother board replaced!

When my wifi went out I went to Best Buy to get a new one. I had picked out a more expensive one when an employee asked me a few questions and said this Netgear N900 would do the trick. Works like a charm.

I was weary about how much speed I would lose but after running a speed test it was only a few Mbps short from a wired connection. Highly satisfied and really happy with how well it performed for the price.

This adapter saved me. My computer wouldn't link back up to my wireless internet connection. So I went to Best Buy and a wonderful young guy showed me the adapters. He said this one, the Netgear N900 would be perfect because it was easy to set up and was not too expensive. He was right. I took it home and followed the instructions and it has worked like a charm. My computer links up faster, I have a secure connection, it worked with my router. It was definitely a great buy. Thanks Best Buy!

We purchased this net gear because the one we received from our internet provider was acting up. My husband went home and set it up within minutes and we have not had any more problems.

WINDOWS 10 WOULD NOT SUPPORT MY CISCO WIRELESS USB RECIEVER AND THIS NETGEAR USB DID THE TRICK . WITH THE LIGHT ON THE SIDE SHOWING IT IS PICKING UP THE WIRELESS INTERNET SIGNAL IS AN ADDED PLUS.

My daughter has one of my older computers that has no WiFi Capabilities, and I really had no intention or running networking cables all throughout the house. This is my third and hopefully last different adaptor, THe first was a belkin which just stopped working, The second I don't even know who it was by but I had to remove it from the USB port every couple of days and plug it back in back in for it to be recognized. And Now This one has been working like a charm. No issues with it dropping off, stays on and just does what its supposed to do.

I bought a desk top computer and found out when we got it home that it did not have wifi built in. Purchased this from Best buy and it was very easy to set up and have not had any issues .

Even though when it was first installed it would not pick up the WIFI signal for some reason, it was fixed by changing it to a different USB connection and it has worked great since then
