Got this to use with our Gig internet speed. Of course our provider tried to tell us this modem wouldn’t work but little did they know their list was outdated and this model was brand new at the time. Works flawlessly and provides a great option to renting when paired with an excellent router.

Overall works well. Haven’t had any issue with working from home. Easy setup.

Excellent purchase. Works flawlessly. I had the arris sb8200 before and always lost connection multiple times through the day. Have not lost connection with this and it’s been a month. The arris had issues out of the box. Thought it was the router. Replaced it and still had issues. Replace the arris and haven’t had issues yet. Recommend for everyone with gigabit internet.

This modem is solid. I don't have issues with it. The only times I restart it is if there are issues with my provider. If the provider internet goes down, the modem can restore communications when it comes back without having to intervene. I've seen over 1 Gbps internet speeds with a wired connection.

The "NETGEAR - Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem" works but not for what I needed. It advertises 4 ethernet ports for use, but in reality you can only use 1 port for an IP address. You have to have another device to have that other device generate IP addresses for you. So I had 4 items I wanted to connect and couldn't. That is why I have given it 3 stars for not properly advertising what the 4 ethernet ports are capable of doing. Right not (6/23/2023) Cox internet has a deal if you go into the store they give you a all in one Gateway as well as a free camera AND they lowered my bill for the next two years! Couldn't pass it up so I took this one back.

It’s been three months and the performance has been great. The admin webpage allows you to easily set up and fine tune the device.

Good modem but unless you're going to have multiple IP addresses from your ISP, this product unnecessary for normal homes. I wish Netgear did a better job at telling you that before purchasing, like "hey, if you're going to have a small business and have multiple IP addresses coming from your ISP this is good". Still, its good product just not for single IP homes.

I purchased this modem because my cable provider stated that my previous modem could be outdated even though it had the capability of meeting the speeds for the plan I purchased. So instead of renting a cable modem I decided to purchase this one. I am thoroughly pleased with the results and speeds. Having an 32x8 modem made a huge difference in conjunction with my eeros mesh WiFi system.

At first I had some problems but I called CS and it was resolved in minutes. I love the speed I get with this thing it’s amazing!! I had a spectrum modem and felt like I was always in a buffering war!! I even upgraded my speeds with Spectrum and it was the router the whole time!! If your questioning if you should get it or not I highly recommend you do!
