Bought this to pair with my Orbi AC3000 router and I have noticed a ridiculous difference in terms of bandwidth and latency. Install was literally plug and play so it shouldn’t be intimidating for a novice. Highly recommend this product

This cable modem works great, and I've combined it with my ORBI mesh network, so now I have really fast wifi. The COX combo modem & wifi, ran really hot, and was really slow, so replacing it with this Nighthawk worked great. You will need to register the modem with COX, or whatever service you use. I'm really happy, and would recommend this modem!

Install is easy as long as Cox works with you on a self install. Been running a month and I’ve had to hard reset twice since it started running like a champ. The reason I can’t give a 5 star. It works as advertised

I brought this modem because of the positive reviews and because I my good experiences with Netgear products. Plus I like to upgrade my modems every few years. Have not had any problems with this modem so far(no rebooting constantly compared to my previous modem). Quality product. Set up was easy as well. Pricey but it does what I brought it for.

Needed to upgrade the cable modem and give back to Comcast their modem and save $14/month rental costs. Very easy to setup right out of the box with all of the instructions. Took a few minutes to fully work due to providing Comcast the modem information. No issues with it since the installation date. Would buy again.

We were renting a modem from our cable provider that was horrible, it had to be reset constantly, sometimes multiple times a day, we replaced it 3 times. We finally broke down and bought this because our sons gaming would crash our internet. Since we bought it, we have had zero issues. Very happy with this product.

Nice unit and works great with MIDCO. Very reasonable price with ease of setup installation. Will be necessary with new MIDCO system happening in the near future.

My old box suddenly stopped working and I realized it was VERY old. Spectrum was coming to troubleshoot, so I ran out to buy this replacement. They set it up for me and all is good!

Great Netgear modem. Easy setup. Awesome speed obtained.

For the most part, this is doing what I was expecting. I was able to replace the Spectrum modem and delivers the 400+ Mbps that Spectrum provides. The only thing I would change is the documentation, to make it more obvious that you can only use more than one Ethernet port if you are paying for more than one WAN IP to your provider.

After returning a different brand/model of cable modem (couldn't get it to connect to the internet w/ Cox), I purchased this, more expensive model. Was much easier to set up and connect to the internet.
