I needed the most speed I could get with my new system, this modem allowed me to chance the performance of the new computer system I bought.

Easy setup with my new router too, both netgear. Took me about 45 minutes to set them up. Instructions were thorough on setting up with spectrum witb the MAC ID.

Cable internet with 1.2gbps but only able to measure 950mbps… could be due to other reasons but disappointed. Easy to use plug and play. It’s cheap but if you can afford the upgraded model go up. I don’t think this can actually hit 1gbps continuously. But value for money is decent.

Great upgrade from my older Arris. Now get gigabit speeds. Old one only got me 120mbps of the 200+ I was supposed to be getting. Now getting over 320mbps. Haven't had to reboot yet. Had to reboot the old one at least 1 or 2 times a month.

By replacing my five year old cable modem with this new cable modem, my internet speed bumped from 90 Mbps to 275 Mbps immediately with the same 300 Mbps service. My family is very pleasantly surprised by this unit's awesome speed. We are finally getting the internet speeds we've been paying for all these years.

Best thing i bought for my internet! Internet runs smoothly with no interruptions! I have 3 kids who game and absolutely love this router!

Upgraded from an older Netgear modem. Excellent Docsis modem with plenty of bandwidth capabilities. A little pricy, but it’s worth it for a reputable brand.

My ISP is very unreliable and cuts in and out frequently. This modem lets me view an outage from their dashboard without internet access and connects back to internet as soon as my ISP comes back up. I also get a full 1gbps delivered by my ISP. the first unit I got was doa, but my second works like a charm.

We had an old modem from our cable company. Even though we paid for more speed, they hadn't replaced the modem in 8 years. We bought the Nighthawk and speed immediately increased. I'm not a techy in any way but setup was easy and painless. Good move!

Has link aggregation which is cool, my router cant handle it but cool for the future. very fast and never has given me trouble. Got this modem in 2020 and it is still highend consumer stuff which makes the purchase feel even better,

I haven't needed to replace my modem for over 10+ years. I was rocking a Motorola Surfboard SB612, it was great; no issues. Although it was time to update my equipment! With this having DOCSIS 3.1 I will be set for years & not need to replace gear for a long time. I predict this lasting another 10+ years.

I bought this to stop relying on the Atlantic Broadband/Breezeline/Metrocast/Comcast hardware. Paired with a good mesh router and you're golden. I opted for nighthawk all around. I haven't had a complaint.

Worked as advertised. Took awhile to set up due to Xfinity’s inability to connect it. Much faster than old Xfinity modem.

Sped up my internet quite significantly. I purchased a new router a year ago and noticed a big difference. But was amazed at how much faster it got again with a better Modem. I recommend for anyone experiencing slow internet. The router/modem combos the internet companies supply are garbage.

I recently purchased this product based on reviews at Best Buy and elsewhere on the Internet. Remove the coax and power from the old Spectrum modem; connect the coax to the CM1200 and install power. Watch the blinking lights and then power on the router. In my case it is a Netgear A10. Call Spectrum. Agent sees the router does an admin thing. Stays on the line with you to test out connection to router, laptop wifi function, and network streaming to our TV. Everything works. Thank the agent, Say good by and you are off and running. Improved performance immediately observed and measured in wifi performance. Paying for 400mps and actually receiving a high of 492. Streaming is receiving higher measured speeds to Roku at 84mps. I am happy and pleased with the results. It is so nice to see a plan come together and work without any glitches. Blood pressure nice and steady. Watch for sale prices.

The Nighthawk modem was a great choice to use with my current provider (WOW) & owning it saves me on my monthly bill. Based on the current offering this unit should cover our download speed needs for the next 4yrs. I read that it runs a bit hot so I bought the GEEK SQUAD protection plan for peace of mind.

Works great with Xfinity internet, so far no issues and easy to setup and cinfigure my own password.

Best bang for the money according to reviews. I had the previous model from 4 years prior. I purchased an extended 4 year warranty, and it quit 4 years & 4 months later. So didn't bother with the warranty this time.

Since net gear is the only product I’ve ever used it’s the go to for me. It’s never let me down so this is what I’ll stick with. Never had a problem with lagging or buffering has never been a problem it’s the best for me

This modem is by far the best I’ve ever owned and worth the extra investment! It pairs great with our Nighthawk Router. Gigabit internet is worthless without a good modem, and this one definitely takes full advantage of the fast internet. Haven’t had a single problem with internet since installed a month ago!
