I love it. I can tell the difference in speed from my last modem

Purchased this to replace the Spectrum one. Haven't had any problems since changing to this.

Bought so we could upgrade internet speed. My wife end up buying from cable company before package came. Same model I think $20 more from cable company.

Had trouble in the first week after an update was done by Xfinity, but it was resolved. Other than that it's been a good modem, pricey but good.

If you're looking at 1000mbs internet access you need this modem. It performs like a champ. Pair it with a Nighthawk router and you're golden!

I have tried the cm 700 and cm 1000 after I upgraded my xfinity speed to 1 gigabit none of the other models gave the full speed only the cm 1200 did

In a time when we are all quarantined and wasting time is nearly impossible, this modem managed to waste an entire day of mine. If you want something that is going to work? This is not for you. If you want something that was easy to deal with? This is not for you. I bought this modem from a recommendation from a friend, thinking he knew what he was talking about. He didn't. Straight out of the box there was problems. It took forever for Comcast ( I have gigabit internet through them) to set up a connection, they kept telling me it was the modem. When finally after two hours of trying it went through. That's when the real fun began. So at first, being hardwired into the modem from PC to modem, I was getting a blazing 5 mpbs. Might as well send a pigeon. Comcast kept saying there is nothing they can do on their end. I attempted to set up a google nest mesh wifi system on it. Mind you, this mesh network worked flawlessly 48 hours prior to my xfi modem going out. Well of course the google nest couldn't connect to the internet. Google told me it was the modem, comcast told me it was the modem, I'm starting to think its the modem. So naturally I open up a trouble ticket with netgear. They give you a case number and tell you to call them. Well, for 45 minutes I would call hoping to get different people, all of which told me that my case number didn't exist. I offered to forward the email from netgear showing the case number provided me, to which they denied. In the end, i just bout an arris surfboard, and within 10 minutes my whole entire network was up and running. So if you want something that works, that's your best option. Thank you netgear for making future choices for me, as I know to avoid you at all costs.

This modem has increased speed over the internet’s subscriber monthly over priced rental issued junk. This will save you money and maybe pay for itself within a year.

Way better than xfinity dual combo! This one is dependable

Nice upgrade from our previous modem. Now we were able to get gig speeds without a hiccup and a rental fee from the cable company.

One of the top basic modems. I picked up as a replacement instead of using the xfinity modem/router. Better to have your own in the long run

This modem performs very well. Lots of info in the modem to provide to your Service provider when things are not working properly. Highly recommended.

Amazing Modem. Worked with Cablevision 1 Gig service. Use Netgear support after optimum activates it.

Easy to install and works as expected. The hardest part of the installation was the messaging from Comcast once connected to the Internet.

The modem works great and has to capacity to work several devices at the same time without loosing any quality .

Got this to replace a Motorola DOCSIS 3.1 modem that my ISP said was not compatible and the cause of slow speeds. This was no faster, GUI noticeably worse, and I returned it. Turns out the ISP was "incorrect" about compatibility of the Motorola, and eventually fixed their cable issues after an FCC complaint. Would have kept the Netgear modem if the original modem had been at fault.
