This is a great router once Netgear Armor is disabled! If you purchase this router and have intermittent internet drops, try disabling Netgear Armor in the Nighthawk App. That resolved all of my connection issues and improved my ping time. I can easily get the 600 Mbps internet speed I pay for from 20-30 feet away from the router on AC and Wifi 6 devices. I have about 20 devices connected on either 2.4GHz and 5GHz with no issues. My home isn't large enough for a mesh system, so this router works great for my conditions.

Excellent modem for Xfinity internet service

This modem can handle the fastest residential service Xfinity offers.
Setup was fast and simple using the Xfinity costumer account. There are 4 Ethernet terminals , one for router, three others to connect to devices not on you router network. This router runs cool, compared to the Arris Motorola it replaced. The Arris constantly overheated and shut down. This Netgear modem connected seamlessly with my Netgear R6400 router. Very happy with the purchase.

Docsis 3.1
up to 10 gbps.
Works with xfinity service. Very fast. Future proof if u want to upgrade speed in the future. Currently getting 460-480 mbps/ 24.
Only cavet:
It's only a modem not a router or wifi. If u want to avoid migraines from emf radiation. Can only direct connect to 1 computer even tho there are 4 ethernet ports on the back, you will need to buy a wifi or wired router separately to connect to more computers, Blu ray players etc. I purchased a wired router separately so I can run 2 computers and blu Ray player.

This is great modem! Its been very reliable and crazy fast! I bought the 3.1 to replace its 3.0 version because it went out after about 5 yrs. Had to go back to Netgear because the 3.0 was so good to me. Love this product!

Works well and was really easy to set up. I can stream on multiple devices without any issue. I tried the Arris combination modem and router, but it I kept getting dropped connections when there were multiple people streaming. The Netgear Nighthawk runs smoothly without glitches

Was very easy to setup just follow the instructions... I used in conjunction with the Orbi mesh system and even outside of my house i still get speeds of 200DL and 15 UL which i never had before. There are issues with the 4 ports in the back not working which it true only #1 and #2 work #3 and #4 will work if you contact your internet provider but I do believe that it will be extra cost. I did however return this unit to get the one that had phone line as I needed for my alarm system

Was getting random disconnects on WOW with previous Arris SB8200. Saw many posts online of similar issues with the SB8200 and bad firmware so I decided to try a different brand of modem as they all seemed to recommend. Upgraded my service from 500 Mbps to 1 Gbs at the same time. Happy to say I am getting about 940 Mbps at the cable modem Ethernet port and no more random disconnects. Very happy.

Replace an older Netgear router that was on the fritz. I have a 1Gbps plan with Astound out of the Chicago area, and this modem pulls that without a problem. The only downside is that the extra Ethernet ports intended for 2.5Gbps will continue to go unused, so this router might be overkill in comparison to other DOCSIS 3.1 routers.

Works great with Spectrum & Google WiFi!

Have had this for three days. Zero issues with getting it online with Spectrum. Spectrum users: This modem is not listed in their online list of approved devices which is dated 7/29/19. BUT if you call their internet tech support, you’ll discover that it is an approved device and will work with their DOCSIS 3.1 protocol and iPv6.
And it does.
It also works just fine with Google WiFi, including iPv6. I read a review here where this product did not, but that’s simply just not the case. I have 4 Google WiFi points and my network hasn’t missed a lick. My Spectrum home service is 200Mbs and it’s delivering 197-210Mbps as measured through both SpeedTest and the Google WiFi app.
Am not a spring chicken to WiFi...have been using it since it first hit the home market. Best cable modem I’ve seen yet. It also has an extended upstream power setting in its Web Access Manager to help move traffic past clutter on the line. We don’t use internet voice so that missing feature from this product is not a player for me. Am looking forward to using the link aggregation function.

Just too many people on-line at once, so we decided to upgrade the incoming to 300Mb/sec. The old modem was not capable of handling the speed. I knew I preferred Netgear since the stuff works and holds up longer than I need it to, so it was more a matter of finding what my ISP could support. They liked this selection - it's one of their favored ones. I've had this for a year now and have had no problems once set up.

Simple and straightforward.
Plug in - register with you ISP - BOOM!
Ultra fast internet!
Using for over a month not, never needed to manually restart it (apart from the initial setup).
Quick tip: save your time and don't buy used (open-boxes are OK).
Paired it with a overkill router (ASUS GT AX6000) - no regrets!

Works as advertised and now we are finally free of paying the modem rental fees that come with our cable TV provider! To think, we paid $720 over the past 7 years for a modem that we were renting that sells for $50 brand new. Now we are unshackled from the ridiculous fees and our internet got even faster! The setup was almost instantaneous with the longest part being waiting on the phone to provide our ISP with the MAC address to be able to access the internet.

Wow! Night & day. I have spectrum internet and it is constantly dropping. I would call they would send a tech and everything looks good and nothing changes. I knew It was the crappy equipment that is free through them so I decided to purchase my own modem and no more drops. Problem fixed. Very easy to install.

The Netgear CM1200-100NAS high speed modem was easy to setup with my Comcast account with a 15 minute phone call. It has worked flawlessly for about the last month. It connected flawlessly with my Asus wireless router. Download speeds are up 50% over my old Zoom. I would buy again.

This cable modem is blazing fast. Just be aware that it does not support Wi-Fi by itself. It must be paired with a wireless router. That being said, it's a great modem, that was simple to install and does everything that it needs to do, very quickly.
