Reliable service from a brand you can trust. The modem consistently keeps up with our 960Mbps down speeds and has no issues with longevity. We had an Arris unit before that we reliably had to restart every few days because it could not keep a good handle on our Cox Communications service. In six months, we haven’t had a single issue with this unit.

This cable modem is blazing fast. Just be aware that it does not support Wi-Fi by itself. It must be paired with a wireless router. That being said, it's a great modem, that was simple to install and does everything that it needs to do, very quickly.

This is a very fast modem without wifi which is what we wanted. Just be aware that each port provides a separate ethernet range but will not be a router for the products attached. You can setup up four separate networks because of this via the four ports but need a router if there is more than one item connected to each port or you need them to see each other.

Easy to set up with Xfinity. Thought I could aggregate my WAN, but the router I purchased last year only does that on the LAN side. So that stunk. Noticeable improvement over my previous modem. 8x4 channels to 32x8 I believe. Got me slightly better then what I pay for on my service. 175 mbps to 325 mbps. Price was more then I wanted to spend but with gift cards I felt good about the purchase since everyone is home now using up the bandwidth.

Needed an upgrade because my internet provider expanded its services. Paired this baby with my nighthawk router (also by net gear) and everything is lightning fast with no connection drops. The app is very user friendly too for repairs, reboots, and updates. I always trust net gear for my internet needs, reviewed by a hardcore gamer with a house full of smart tech and 15+ devices connected at one time.

Smooth & fast speeds and a great look. We have this set up on top of a bookshelf with the router it feeds. Great unobtrusive looks and the speeds are great after we switched from Xfinity to Spectrum in a recent move. Not sure if the provider is the reason for the improvement, but our router (Linksys Velop Pro 7) definitely like the signals from this modem better. On the old modem this router was fussy about how many ethernets it fed (we use as ethernet as much as reasonable to reduce signal interference in our house). Now the router is happy as a clam in water.

The product works but not as advertised

I bought this cable modem to replace the one provided by my ISP, it was advertised by both Best Buy and Netgear that the 4 ethernet ports are usable right off the bat but what they failed to mention is that you must have 4 separate static IP addresses which not every ISP provides. Basically this is meant for businesses with servers or printers, not for your everyday home life. You would have to purchase a separate router with 4 ethernet ports to add 4 ethernet cables. The speed is fast but not being able to use all 4 ethernet ports off the bat, means that you're better off purchasing 1 with a single ethernet port and use a switch or a router and save a hundred dollars or so

This this is SO FAST! It will support up to a 1Gbps connection with most providers. I chose this model over the 1000 because it has 4 LAN ports on the back (2 of which you can bond, if you have the speeds to take advantage of it). After setup, it has been rock solid with no issues. You will need a separate router to manage your wifi and access restrictions. But I won't have to worry about the modem for a long time.

I recently upgraded my Xfinity Internet to 400 mbps and was told I should purchase DOCSIS 3.1 modem to get the most out of my fast internet. It is working great for us. Uploads web pages quickly.

I was debating on getting this or something different. The customer service was great I gave a price range and they helped so it wouldn’t exceed. I ended up getting this since they were very honest for what I needed it for very good item my connection was always getting cut off when I was gaming. This helped out a lot I have some lag but that’s because of my provider very minimal to not very noticeable. If multiple people are on at the same time it won’t drop in performance. It does the job for me at least for the reasons I needed it for.

I got lucky and found this on sale for a steal. Even at asking price it’s a fantastic, reliable modem. Both it and my router work flawlessly together for any needs (gaming, streaming, or otherwise). The product looks sleek, feels sturdy, and is easy to get up and running. If you don’t have gigabit yet but think your provider may upgrade and/or want to be prepared this is definitely worth considering. You will not be disappointed.

Plug into your coaxial outlet and activate your connection with Xfinity is very easy with this modem and will maximize bandwidth due to the DOCSIS 3.1 specification. Appreciate the fact an ethernet cable is included with the product. One thing great about this modem is that you can combine it with a Nighthawk RAX80 WiFi 6 router via ethernet and experience multi-gig internet speeds.

Over 2gigabits on Comcast using correct speed test

Very easy to setup. Wasn’t getting full gigabit speed so had Comcast come out. It turns out I was actually getting 2 gigabits. What they don’t tell you is that the SoeedTest site doesn’t support gigabit speeds for testing. You need a speed test website made for business speeds. I went to the one one the Comcast business site and was regularly pulling between one and two gigabits.

Recently purchased this 2 GB modem from Netgear. Set up was fairly simple. The most difficult thing was connecting to Comcast and trying to get them to recognize the router as being on boarded. Since then the speed has been exceptional. The modem is well recognized during speed test and it is communicating very well with the Netgear Orbi Wi-Fi mesh network I purchased along with this.
