    IN MY OPINION IT IS THE BEST MODEM AVAILABLE FOR HOME USE AND IS FUTURE PROOF SO A NEW ONE WILL NOT BE NEEDED IN THE NEAR FUTURE TO KEEP UP WITH TECHNOLOGY. THE NIGHTHAWK APP FOR YOUR CELL PHONE ALLOWS FULL CONTROL OF ALL NETGEAR EQUIPMENT WHICH MAKES IT EXTREMELY CONVENIENT TO PRETTY MUCH CONTROL EVERYTHING REMOTELY FROM THE APP.

    Great modem works grate with Cox, boots up very quickly, not like the old recycled modems provided by Cox. I have only one complaint I requested the modem to have phone jacks like there is on the Cox modem and was told by my sales person at Best Buy that it did have the phone jacks, I didn’t realize it did not have them until after I had it already connected to Cox. Since I and not at this time using phone system through Cox I didn’t need it now. On my behalf I have never purchased a modem before now and should have known what I was purchasing. But I requested the proper unit and was given the wrong one and told it had the phone jacks ant person read the box in front of me to verify my request. After 4 1/2 days fighting problems from internet service I replaced the modem and my router the next day.
