Just after the warranty expired, of course. I bought a second identical unit because I was happy with the first one until it failed.

Your business practices are atrocious why you feel you need to sell customers phone numbers and email address while not TECHNICALLY ILLEGAL is very much unethical. While I have no proof. Every time I purchase from best buy I get a barrage of suspected spam calls and emails !!

Good modem at the right price

I have experienced slight dips in speeds, and disconnect/reconnects, but I'm not sure if that's the modem or my carrier. Honestly, the carrier is the more likely cause. Otherwise, it handles the internet list just fine. Great piece of equipment with the right price.

Netgear Customer Service Is Terrible

Customer Service put me on hold twice for 45 minutes and hung up on me the third time and had to start all over. Retiring and setup Aris with no issue at all.

Loved it until 02/20/20

It worked slightly better than Arris but on 02/20/20 it started to lose download channels.... I'd reboot and fine for a time. Checked cable company and no issues.,,, Not believing them I plugged Arris back in and everything has been stable since. Will be calling Netgear CS.

The unit I bought from BestBuy was in perfect condition and means a lot to me. Thankyou BestBuy.

Not what I was really shopping for

However with this lack of understanding I was left with having to purchase a WIFI product since I was replacing my XFinity Modem that was WIFI capable. Still this is a very good fit for my needs.
