Problem Modem
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The model ran well for 4 months, then began having problems connecting to my service provider and the Netgear router I had connected. After having two technicians come out and checked my provider's wire and speed upto entering my house, tracing the problem to the modem or router. A call to Netgear was unsatisfactory. I replaced both and my speed and connectivity was never better.

Bean bag punch and heart palpitations
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PLEASE READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. If you'd like a night of frustration use the Nighthawk. I would rather be kicked in the bean bags. At the advice of my spectrum tech, I was replacing a 3.0 Netgear3700 with 2 ports at speeds that were fine. 220MBPS and 200 on the Deco Mesh Wireless. The Deco mesh wireless was set up 5 months ago, set up in about 5 minutes and powers the 3000sq ft house and outside flawlessly. Unless SPECTRUM starts with the "Intermittent" BS and tries to blame it on the modem router or whatever they want to call it. Easy enough to call spectrum and they need to transfer it. You plug deco in and the Verizon network connection and you get CRICKETS. Try to use Netgear Genie for an hour and then call for support. Of course you get patched into Thailand or philipines , get cut off cause your phone won't work and they LOVE to start a ticket. They will ask you the same questions 10-15 times, it is embarrassing. They want you to call deco and call verizon to get anything you plug into the unit. It is a piece of JUMK PERIOD. I would rather have my teeth kicked in. have a handover after 30 shots or get in a rollover car collision then go through this trouble. A COMPLETE waste of time and trouble. If you would like to shave your head and start a rock pile, go right ahead and try the wonderful nighthawk that got packaged up and sent right back after wasting 6 hours. The netgear 3700 works just great for 1/2 the price. In today's age the product and service is just plain PATHETIC. AVOID, Do NOT BUY, RUN LIKE RABBIT WITH THORN IN PAW.

Daily Disconnects, and Now Continuous Disconnects
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Same issues as reported by many--the modem disconnects daily. Ran fine for nearly a year, then every day, in the morning hours it would go in to an error condition. I never bothered troubleshooting the error logs as reboot always restored. I did this every day, and just this week, I'm experiencing the same condition multiple times throughout the day. I've always had great success with Motorola modems and I have one coming to replace this waste of money. If it matters to anyone, I am on the Comcast network.

modem has issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this modem to use with my spectrum 1gb internet connection, modem was able to get 1200mbps download speed but there is an known issues with port aggregation on this modem. after 24-48 hours the modem would drop speeds down to 20-30mbps until the modem was reset in which it would go back to full speed. not gonna keep having to reset the modem daily to keep my gig internet connection. will be returning this modem for a refund.

Customer support is lousy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is good but only one rear port is working at a time and the customer support is crap. So far I’ve gotten them to blame the cable company and that’s it. I won’t buy again for that very reason
