I studied every modem, every router, every mesh system, and every combo gateway. I finally landed on a Netgear Nighthawk cable modem and mesh wifi system, and I love the whole setup. The only time-consuming part was waiting for Cox to configure things on their end, but the Netgear items themselves were easy and fast to set up, and since the app works so nicely and allowed me to retain my network name and password so easily, integration was seamless and I did not have to reset everything in my house. The equipment also looks very nice!

I've had this modem for several weeks and it has been reliable, no dropouts, was easy to set up and unlocked speed my provider told me I wasn't getting due to my previous modem.

Overall this modem cable box is a good one if your planning to have your own separate WIFI box too. Especially if your home is 90% wireless devices and this netgear nighthawk does provide high speed connection and reliability. The rang is pretty good too, since I live in a 1700 square foot house, and get pretty good coverage over all. The only warning I can give is, if someone has spectrum, you may want to call them to activate the line going into your home. Since that is what I needed to do before using this.

Works as expected. I didn't see a significant speed boost when it was installed, but it allowed me to get to the next level of download speeds once I upgraded the contract (my old modem was no longer supported). This modem should meet my needs for some time to come, assuming the cable company doesn't just mark it unsupported for some unknown reason. Installation was easy, activation was a little more difficult but that was on the cable companies part. Following their instructions, I could not get their app to do anything, but once I called them I was able to get it acctivated without a problem, other than the guy at the other end of the line tried to sell me a new contract for the same price, that was actually going to cost $60 more.

Looks sleek and set up was a breeze with Comcast Xfinity. Speeds are 900+ on my 1Gbps plan and connection is reliable. Feels cheap and one of the LEDs (download icon) went out and does not light up on the unit less than a year after purchase. Disappointed based off the price. Would not purchase another Netgear modem on next upgrade.

Great and easy set up, plug and done deal. Do call your service provider so you can update your software with them. You will also want to download any new updates in order to work perfectly. You do actually get great speeds upload 116 mbps and download speeds i was 370 mbps on my phone across the house.

So far going well! Very low effort install and app set up. The entire app learns and determines best scenario for your set up. The entire system is awesome and has maximized my internet speed more than any other modem ever has.

Looks great. The size allows you to place it anywhere. Fast speed and high performance.

Easy install, works well. It increased my Xfinity download speed. On the expensive side.

My previous modem died on me recently and after reading the many positive reviews, I decided to upgrade my modem and get the future-proof Netgear Nighthawk CM2000 modem from Best Buy. It was super easy to install and compatible with my Comcast/Xfinity internet service. Set-up with Comcast/Xfinity was also super easy. Works like a dream and is super fast.

I purchased the CM2000 to replace my aging ARRIS SB6190 that i have been using for about 6 years with no problem. Per Xfinity I needed to upgrade my modem in order to take advantage of my new plan +1g speed. Very easy setup. Plug in network cable, coax cable, and power cord. Then power on and give your ISP the MAC and in about 10 mins you are good to go.

My previous router (from ISP) so I decided to upgrade in hopes to have a more stable connection and faster and more stable UL/DL speeds. Boy was I right! Works better than advertised. Very happy with this product and would recommend to any serious gamer or middle/large sized household. I think it may be a bit much for a typical internet browser.

Amazing modem fast speeds easy to use and install not a single issue even after the first year

An amazing modem, the color and look of it is awesome. It is always important to know what speed you are getting from your provider to buy the appropriate modem for it. If you pay for 1200 mbps but have a router that only passes through 900 mbps, then you are capping your wifi at 900 mbps. Because of what it can pass through, I love the modem. It is pricey, but you will want to buy appropriate equipment to get what you pay for. So it is definitely worth it.

Replaced a 8 year old modem. Was not getting the full speed my cable company was offering. Wow buy this modem. Getting full speed and then some. Very easy to install. Paired this with the Orbi Mesh 6E. Easy to install with. Also hooked up router through cable app. No issues with activation.

The Netgear Nighthawk 32 x 8 Docsis 3.1 Cable was one of the best things I did for myself when I was trying to extracate my involvement with Comcast. Knocked $10 off my cost of internet only. And it was not so difficult to set up, though I did have someone help guide me. And I have had next to no issues with it at all. A little pricey, but worth it knowing I have a good product

Easy to setup. Does the job required by my cable provider.

I am very happy with this DOCSIS 3.1 modem. I love the 2.5gb port which has future proofed my setup. Pairs nicely with my Orbi AX6000 router/satellites. With this modem, my orbi ax6000 router, and a PCI WiFi 802.11ax card in my home computer, I am getting 700mbps+ 40ft away from the Modem/Router. On a side note, if anyone else is using this to help future proof their setup, make sure you pair this with a router that has a 2.5gb WAN port and ditch the cat5e cable from the and use a cat7 or cat8 to connect the modem and router.
