I also didn't want to spend the monthly rental fee from Xfinity. This model works flawlessly and I have had no problems with it at all. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade or to get away from Xfinity's modem rental fees!

If your router, any router, can’t adapt to the new or upgraded internet specs then it will begin to run slowly or ineffectively. This became outdated a few months after purchase. I had to replace with my internet provider’s proprietary router brand. Not sure if they do this by design but I had no choice—the quality of my service was horrible and I couldn’t let that affect my work.
