Bought this last week of November 2024. After a year of observing closely its performance, I have concluded that it does not live to its advertised specifications. The highlight of this review is that even with upgraded coaxial and ethernet cables, rebooting and resetting the modem, it consistently throttles my internet speed to less than 50% of what I'm subscribed to (got only 300 to 450 Mbps, vs. my 1100 Mbps subscription). There is no issue on my ISP's side, and after further checking the power and SNR values through my modem account, all falls within good operating levels. I have raised this issue directly with Netgear as I am still within the one-year warranty period, and they are still reviewing this case. For the meantime, I have enough experience to rate this unit 1/5.

Really nice if you wanna get rid of you cable and internet companies monthly charge fee it’s worth it in the long run this one is for the home phone line so if you don’t have that there is another version but it’s net gear there awesome

If you're on Xfinity, you won't get the advertised speeds on the box, which is unfortunate because I liked the idea of having a modem with voice capabilities, and 2 Gigabit ethernet.

Product didn't work. After a month of single digit download speeds, I finally gave up on this product. Due to Best Buy's 15-day return window, I'm now stuck with this product and wasted over $300. I purchased a different router and everything's fine now, but I still have a $300 paperweight that I can't do anything with.

Gets the job done, not an expert so I can’t really tell the difference but as far as looks wise it’s a lot slimmer and does not make any noise when hot!

Very difficult to activate … had to download an app and try several times to link with Comcast

I've had a Netgear modem and router for years and never had a problem with them. I am not a network guy. There is plenty of help online so it wasn't to bad. My wi-fi and cabled speeds increased. I am happy.

Works perfectly. Had to call Xfinity/Comcast to have them update their records for it even though I used the app on my phone and should have been able to do it all on my own end. But I knew that was likely from other reviews in other places. So much better than the xfinity/comcast modems I've had.

While a bit on the pricey side, you get great value for your money as you will take advantage of the newest generation of speed provided by Xfinity, with the added bonus of voice compatibility
