I would have loved to use this modem for my house due to the multiple ethernet ports. unfortunately, even though this is DOCSIS 3.1 is is specifically for Infinity service and not COX on the westcoast. such a shame.

Works great with Xfinity gigabit. They won't let you activate a Triple Play package (with phone) without a modem that supports voice, like this one. As far as I know, this is the only compatible modem you can buy outright.

We just upgraded our Xfinity to "gig" service, so we needed a new modem. We already use a separate wireless router and didn't need to pay for a Comcast rental. Performing very well so far.

I replaced my rented Comcast Modem with this one. I received double the speed of the previous modem and I reduced my cable bill by eliminating the rental fee.

Amazing speed and so much better than the Xfinity router I had. Hard to set up though - just wouldn't connect to xfinity. Took hours, but not sure if on the modem size or xfinity.

I have tried so many different modem for my gigabit from comcast, and so far this have been the only one to deliver not just the speed that was promised from my ISP.. but stability like no other.... well ventilated

Best modem I have ever owned, pait it with a netgear knighthawk router of your choice depending on what you need, phone ready and handles 1 gb speeds just fine.

This in combination with the Netgear router and we now are experiencing lighting fast internet speeds. No buffering when streaming videos through Netflix or Amazon and webpages post immediately.

Fairly easy to install. It's a bridge/modem only Layer 2 device without WiFi nor Layer 3 functionality so you need to connect a WiFi router behind it. Getting 950+Mbps for my Gbps Comcast Internet!

Replaced our last modem with this Netgear Nighthawk Modem to upgrade our wifi system. This compliments our Netgear router. Works great! Easy to set up and no RENTING from Xfinity. Highly recommended purchase.

Excellent modem. We returned the Xfinity modem to save the monthly rental. Only problem because it transfers on a faster speed I had a problem connecting our wireless thermostat and solar system. We had to open up the Linksys Mesh system and add a second WiFi on 2.4.

There are only a few modems that are phone capable and this is one of them. We have never had a problem with this modem and it works as it should.

I bought this to save on the rental expense from my cable provider's modem/router tower. I then paired this with a AX11000 WiFi Router (RAX200) and never looked back.

Works great for cable modem (plus telephone) with Xfinity. Took them a while to figure out but they eventually got it working over the phone.

I changed my phone service and it required a new modem. After a little research I decided on the Netgear Nighthawk. Set up was very easy. Great clarity on my phone. Internet serve fine.

First let me say, this is a great modem. Future proof you're home or small business network. Now, here's the hitch, this modem is really just a single port Ethernet modem. Sure it has 4, but those don't work the way normal people would think it works. That being said, telephone and Ethernet work as they should. It handles a gigabit for sure. So if you buy this, know that of the 4 ports, 1 is really it. Unless you're a super geek and know how or need parallel Ethernet cords then sure get this and figure it out. Other than that, get a wireless router, and Happy surfing.

Woohooooo this thing has never failed me!!!! It works amazingly well and if your isp says it is your modem and that is the problem I can tell you they are wrong
