Good Product, but tricky setup

This product appears to be manufactured by and intended for use with Xfinity internet. The online walkthrough activation process was not very useful and I eventually had to call their tech support. As it turned out, I didn't do anything wrong and all adjustments to bring the modem online were on the Comcast side. Now active, the modem seems to work flawlessly and produces the results that I had expected.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Netgear’s docsys 3.1 with EMTA is perfect. It’s installed on Comcast’s system. Install went smoothly. Called Comcast and after 20 minutes everything was provisioned. The modem has four output Ethernet ports. I’m only using one as it feeds an existing Netgear 1GB 8 port switch which in turn feeds 4 Google mesh points. Everything is working perfectly. Google plays nicely with Netgear, my service is steady at 400/12 which is what I am paying for.

Great Modem

I bought this because I do the built in voice modem so I can now stop paying Comcast monthly to rent one.
