Very fast, east to setup, died after a few weeks

It was easy to setup and activate with Comcast. We usually got about 900+ mbps down and around 40 mpbs up, which was what we expected. Comcast went down one afternoon and we never recovered. After service was restored, we were getting about 35-40 mpbs up and down. We had to take it back. I think it was a fluke and am waiting for it to come back in stock so I can get another one. I would give it 5 stars, except that it died so soon. Since it stopped working after Comcast had line issues in our area, I really suspect we may have gotten a spike on the line that knocked it out. I'm ready to give it another chance and buy another when they come back in stock.

Requires a separate unit for that. If you're looking to replace your existing Xfinity modem, keep in mind to utilize all the features you might have to get a 24x8 Docsis 3.0 unit, which still gives a reasonable up/download speed rating.
