Which means that it will only ID 1 IP address. If you want WiFi or multiple connection you need to purchase and attach a router to this device first before completing connection. Other than these nuances for novice users this.

Great stock and shipping

Best Buy had good stock and shipping was lightning fast. Online competitor had poor stock. Still haven't been able to get the VoIP phone working but internet is very stable.

Got this modem cause my prior one died. I was planning on going with Comcast to replace my landline, but decided not to after I purchased the modem. Could have saved some money if I chose the version without voice support.

Had an Arris (that cost more) for a few months before this. Returned it because it continually would stop connecting to the web. I had to restart it 2-3x a week. Arris support answered the phone but could never get it to correct itself. This I e had no issues.

Save On Xfinity Rental Fees

Easy hook up, but, and this is a BIG but, I didn't realize that this modem does not have WiFi ! Luckily, I had an old WiFi router that I could use in conjunction with the new modem.
