Not what I expected.....

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Modem does its job but depending what the layout of your system is, I could easily lived with a modem that was less money and did I really need all the hook-ups? No! The price was steep, $274, thats a bit high and this modem did nothing to speed up my connections, in fact it made things slightly worse, so, was it me who doesn’t understand technology? No, I believe the unit does not live up to it’s standards.

Expensive ... could he better

Just could not get this modem to work properly

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As much as I tried, using both Xfinity and Netgear, I was not able to make this cable modem work with any level of dependability. This is the only modem that will work with Comcast Xfinity Triple Play which consists of television, internet and telephone. Comcast pointed to Netgear as it being a modem problem. Netgear pointed to Comcast as it being an ISP problem. I wanted to downgrade to Double Play, television and internet and was told that doing that would cost me about $15.00 more monthly which was enough to pay for the monthly modem rental which is what I wanted to get away from. So far, all is working well. If you are going to get the Infinity Triple Play be aware of my issues with this modem. Also, much appreciation to Best Buy for their desire to take care of this customer the day I returned the product. Another reason I choose to keep my dollars local when I can. Thanks!!
