Hooked up easily, strong signal and digital phone compatible.

This modem worked fine for about 3 months now I have to reset it constantly. I switched to and old modem I have and everything works fine I just don’t have a port in the old modem for a phone line for my triple play. Netgear customer service is terrible they want you to pay for tech support after 3 months of owning the modem even though they guarantee it for a year! Save your money and get something else for $250 this is unacceptable!!

Nothing wrong with the product. Found out after purchase the Voice was not compatible with Atlantic Broad Band Telephone service. Also, when talking to the tech, they stated they would not support TiVo issues if I installed this so show stopper.

Great so far. Working fine. TV works great off of it

No problems just not as fast as I hoped it would be.

The CM1150V is supposed to be for Xfinity by Comcast only so my thoughts were it should work flawlessly out of the box when used with Xfinity by Comcast. WRONG. I'm tech savvy and this reminded me of trying to configure a DSL modem back in the late 1990's (nothing worked). The initial setup was easy: Call Xfinity support and have them activate the modem with the MAC address. That worked fine (at least from the Xfinity support side, they said it looks great and it working). After about 20 minutes of troubleshooting with the Xfinity help desk, I was able to get 1 computer hardwired to the modem to get internet access. I wasn't able to get any other computer via a wireless hub or an unmanaged switch to gain access to the internet. I was able to share files via LAN with the one computer hardwired to the Netgear modem but no other PC's had internet access. I gained access to the Netgear modem via the IP address but as soon as I accessed it through another computer it booted the one PC that was hardwired off the internet and then I couldn't get access back into the Netgear modem from any computer and then no computers would have access to the internet. 3 hours later with 3 different levels of Xfinity tech support I eventually gave up and switched back to the rented Xfinity modem that had no issues with accessing the internet on multiple computers hard wired to a hub or others via wifi through another hub all attached to the same modem. For a modem that is suppose to be ONLY for Xfinity and doesn't work even with Xfinity tech support and a tech savvy person like myself, I would give this modem less than 1 star. Netgear has always been a hit or miss company when it comes to networking hardware. The quality for the price: it's built cheap (lightweight modem that feels mostly plastic rather than tech built into it and at this price range I'd expect a little more robust). Value: if it would work (modem, 4 gigabit ports, 2 net telephone ports) it's comparable to renting the Xfinity modem over 2 years (you'll save a little but as some reviews would state that's only if it works and some have had failures within months of purchase). Ease of use: it should be easy to use....if it actually worked. Recommend to a friend: NO....

I purchased based upon that fact it is one of only 2 approved for Comcast gigabyte with voice. One key feature I really was looking forward to was the extra 4 ports with port aggregation. To my surprise, the ports aren't active and there are no plans per Netgear support to have them active. So I went to check out the Netgear Community page and found that a lot of people ended up returning this unit due to Netgear support, the performance of the product and the fact that the product is not as advertised. I returned it and went with Arris T25. The Arris works awesome!

It ‘s a great modem for mesh wif I which is what my wife and i bought.

Xfinity rep recommended this device as I was tired of paying a rental fee for one of theirs. I have not been able to get the second port to work so that I can hardwire into the internet. Not sure what the problem is.

Works well with a lot of range. Significant upgrade for us.
