This modem works well with Xfinity and Google Nest. Had to call Xfinity for help in the setup to get it up and running. Then had to call again to get the voice support activated. But all seems to be working well at this point. Bought to avoid the fee associated with the Xfinity modem/router I was being charged every month.

It works perfectly. Install was easy. Matches well with my Apple Extreme.

Performs as expected. Comcast will claim any internet issues you experience could be caused by this modem because it is not one you rented from them despite it being endorsed by Comcast/Xfinity, even having a box with the words “Built for XFINITYfrom Comcast Internet with Voice”

Great product. I was able to sign up online, no need for a phone call with this modem to get it working. My old Comcast modem/router kept dropping out, about every 3 or 4 days, and seemed to have issues with several other components. This modem is rock solid, no issues.

I've now had this up and running for about 3 months now. I've paired it with the Nighthawk R8000 AC3200 router, Xfinity gigabit service with VOIP. I bought it because I needed a modem capable of VOIP that also supports gigabit. I had an Xfinity tech come to my house to setup - I was also getting gigabit installed for the first time - and I'm glad I did. It did take him 3 phone calls to get everything working correctly (I was upgrading from the Blast service - 400 MB - and an older Arris modem/router combo in bridge mode). Over the past 3 months I have had to reboot twice. I never lost internet but I did notice that wireless speed was down to 175-200 MBps when it typically should be 300-325. The PC directly wired to the router gets 940 MBps but was down to 300. I'm not sure what causes that but it's an easy fix. I often times have 10-15 devices active at once between all of the security cams, phones, rokus, nvidia shields, Firesticks, Ipads, TVs, etc but I'm happy with the speeds that I'm getting. Would recommend.

Works as good as the one I have been renting from Comcast but I no longer pay $14 per month to Comcast to rent their all 'n' one box. Even though on the pricey end, this will pay for itself in 16 months. I needed this particular model due to needing to connect our home phoneline and stay compatible with comcast.

We made the plunge after increasing our speed of service. Rather than "upgrading" to our Service Provider's new modem/router, we decided to buy this. Tech Support walked me thru and ensured that everything was working beyond my satisfaction. We also purchased the Netgear Router which has replaced our cable modem/router and a releater. WE LOVE THE NEW SPEED!!!!!

Needed to upgrade my cable modem to take advantage of higher speeds from Xfinity, and with this modem I get about 950 Mbps of my gigabit Ethernet from Xfinity. So far so good. Only issue was in activation...Xfinity couldn't activate it successfully over the phone and told me a tech would call me to setup an appointment (never happened)...so I bought an Ethernet adapter for my laptop, plugged it into the modem and did setup that way and it was activated in 5 minutes. Highly recommend going that route for setup.

I was trying to get off of Comcast modem wifi. It was more money than I wanted to spend. It's probably the best one available. I combined this with Google wifi, Mesh wifi network. Internet is blazing fast. You need the modem to receive the internet from cable. You will need something to broadcast Wi-Fi signal. I choose: Google Wifi AC1200 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Internet speeds are super fast.

Great cable modem and also lets you have voice for the telephones, only drawback is that there is no WiFi

So far it’s working like a champ, with much improved speed from my previous 3 year old owned modem/router. Which I’m able to save on rentals fees. For the initial set-up: I ended up needing to call Xfinity for them to recognize my new modem. Took about 10-15 minutes on the phone. All is working fine.

I got rid of the telephone service I had because it was very bad and went back to Comcast for phone service. The modem is very easy to set up and the phone calls are clear without interruptions etc. My friends can't believe how clear it is. There are two ports for phones if you have a second number. No complaints it is a good complement to the Netgear router.

Purchased to avoid cost from internet provider. Easy set-up. Works great better than last gear, which came from Internet provider.

Bought this for use with Xfinity internet with voice service, have been using it for over a year now and it's been flawless so far. Xfinity just bumped speeds up to 800Mbps for my level of service, and I get at least that. No issues with voice service either. It's kind of expensive, but will eventually pay for itself vs. renting.

I had been waiting for this modem to be released to replace the cable modem I was leasing from Comcast/Xfinity and was having issues with. The CM1150V modem has been stable and very fast. It has been great to no longer have the latency and jitter issues the leased modem had. Websites now load almost immediately and it feels like I have high speed internet again. Highly recommend purchasing this modem.

Excellent replacement for my 8 year old failing modem that I purchased from Comcast back when they sold them. The Nighthawk modem has actually speeded up my computers internet connection, response is much quicker, and greatly improved connection reliability. This unit is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.
