Had bought another brand that was recommended and it stopped working a year later and could not cover the area I wanted. This netgear not only covered the area but now I have speed. Great product. Worth the price

I have never used one of these before so I was quite impressed with how easy it was to set up. My wifi is working great in a location in my home that I didn't expect.

Boosted 5GHz signal very well to reach the far corner of the house. The set up was a little difficult, but it seems that Verizon FiOS doesn't always play well with others.

Truly powerful extender and super easy to setup. Had a much stronger signal and range than previous models.

Placed this in our living room to extend range of Wi-Fi from the office (back side of house). Entire house (5K Sq Ft) now has coverage/no dead spots. Very low profile device is added bonus.

If you’ve got a lot of square footage between your main router and your smart devices, this will definitely help strengthen your WiFi signal! We have seen a lot less buffering with our streaming devices too!

Due to COVID-19 both my wife and I had to work from home. Her workstation was the furthest point away from our wireless router. Added the NETGEAR extender solved the problem.

Sounds easy to install, but after 3 hours and a phone call to Netgear it works perfectly, The unit is unobtrusive looking and send the signal to where I needed it.

i have mixed feelings about this, the wifi in my bedroom is awful so i got this and ran a catv to it to make it a repeater. i have it set it 5GHz so in my room its fantastic however when i leave my room and go to the kitchen for example (30' away) the service is not the best. Also when i turn my computer on for the first time of the day it wont connect for about a minute or two, but when it does connect it has never failed on me.

Works decent noticeable improvement no wow factor but definately somewhat of an Internet speed improvement

I can't recommend to NOT buy this product enough. There is no way to tell if it's connected and working in your home, the app that it has you download is faulty at best, and down right criminal at worst. Calling the customer support to get help my extender losing connection every day resulted in a confirmation that the app is only meant for setup, but on the app store and on the product instructions that come with the product it confirms its supposed to be used to manage the use of the product. On top of that the customer support is absolutely worthless, both calling in and with their chat support. They're third party, as is everyone these days, but after spending hours with multiple of them they have don't even have the decency to check what product you bought from netgear; one rep I had literally copy and pasted the support from their customer support page (I'm online and asking for help netgear, obviously I've already googled quick fixes and they don't work). When this thing works, it works great, the issue though is the app tells you you lose connection every hour or so, and the PC setup website you go through also doesn't confirm when the extender is working and when your router stops utilizing the extender. This is the first netgear product I've ever used, and it will be the last; cherry on top of this interaction was being told by their third party customer support over the phone (they use a vpn to make it seem like they're in California but I got the rep to admit he was in India) that he couldn't help me and to call netgears business centers directly (not the number they provide you) if I needed continued support. For your sanity, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I 4 wireless cameras setup outside, and the Netgear Nighthawk has helped tremendously!

set my extender up at first I thought it wasn't working but it takes a few minutes was running around house trying to find an outlet that it worked but I was impatient you have to wait like 3 minutes works just great
