||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was apprehensive about buying this because I am not a techy.It took me about an hour to get it set up because you have to go online and program it the first time I tried it didn't work, but I tried again and it went through.Now it works great. I have an old house that has plaster walls & ceilings with wire mesh. I had the router on the second floor as recommended, my desk top on the second floor worked fine but any thing on the first floor was very weak. Now with the booster on the first floor, every thing has a very strong signal.

Called Netgear for help and they had trouble also. May have been on this end. They finally tried to sell me virus protection that I did not need. Called my provider and everything was fine. A little unhappy with Netgear for telling me that the problem was a virus. Have other Netgear products and am very pleased. Strange. I did return this product and Bestbuy was great as always. Great service at Bestbuy.
