Good Mesh Wifi Extender

Initially I was having issue with the extender cutting out and losing connections. I was using a single WiFi name for two bands. You will need to activate both bands so that it will not cut out when the extender moves to different band. Maybe the instruction is not that clear and I need to do further research how to activate bith bands. Once I did that it is seamless and improved my wifi overall.

We are very happy with the quality of our connections. We are both online and in meetings drawing a lot of bandwidth.

Helpful but..

We have quite a powerful router, but the distance from the router to the range extender means the signal one sees upstairs is only OK. Guessing a second range extender might help a bit!

CUT THE CABLE..

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I followed instructions, but afterwards actually contacted netgear support to verify the correct installation of this and the extender..they are awesome...I am very happy with both Netgear Nighthawk Router/Modem and the Netgear WIFI extender..I no longer am using Cable to tv, and no cable box..I got a lesser cable package too, as now I can utilize more of my smart tv's Free apps thru Wifi..
