I am extremely satisfied with the range this thing gets. It is somewhat a pain to set up but once it is it's well worth it. Im
using mine as an extender and not the access point. I have mine going through multiple walls and going into a metal shop. The furthest point I've tested the WiFi is 100 yards from the router and I still had half my bars. I've recommended this to multiple friends and everybody is impressed.

It worked great. I had a bit of a time setting it up as I am not extreamly tech savy. After calling NETGEAR and getting a bit of direction - it synced with my Router and works great.
I can get on my wireless system anywhere out in my yard or house.
Im working from home now and this gives me the freedom to work either indoors or out on the patio enjoying my coffee and cool morning air.
Thank you NETGEAR and Best Buy. : )

While this does indeed work where it extends the distance for WiFi pickup to devices it really did not solve the issue throughout my 4000+ sq ft house by itself. Needed multiple of these devices for it to work which I understand could significantly slow down connectivity. I only recommend for smaller space with just slight issues with WiFi extension. Otherwise, it works for the job it can handle

I like Netgears extenders. They are easy to set up and install. They perform very well. Now there are more powerful models so I'm sure this one has come down in price. Also, the new mesh extenders have some convenience advantages.

I was having issues getting my WiFi signal to my garage for my Tesla to connect to for updates. This extender worked well and provided plenty of additional range and speed to handle the overnight updates.

Two story house with routerin walkout basement for wired connection in office, leading to poor wireless on main floor and back sunroom. Plugged this in on main floor in room almost directly above router, now have about 75% of the speed of wired connection upstairs . Very happy. Set up took about 10 minutes, had to reset twice, but no biggie.

I always thought these didn’t work but when I purchased my wireless cameras and needed to boost my signal this worked great. I placed it in my kitchen so it could reach the camera outside my garage. It boosted the signal all over my 2 story house and I am very happy with it.

I added an internet only TV to a remote room downstairs and I couldn't connect to wi-fi due to weak signal (router was upstairs through several walls). Plugged this in downstairs halfway between new TV and Router and set it up on my laptop (easy). It creates a new wi-fi name with an "ext" (extension). works great

The WiFi Extender works well and reaches the area in the back yard that I am trying to cover. Set up is fairly easy but I still haven't figured out how to change the name of the WiFi Extender. Not much of a problem since I now have a "Netgear-Guest" WiFi for friends to use. The 5Gb AND 2.4Gb feature is welcomed. Would buy again.

I purchased this item because my old wifi extender went belly-up. I first tried an identical replacement, which I had purchased on-line. The replacement would not couple with my ATT Gateway so I returned it for a refund. I purchased my NETGEAR AC1900 from BEST BUY. I initially had some trouble connecting to my ATT Gateway, but after resetting the range extender I was finally able to complete the connection and bring my outdoor camera back on-line.

It works fine but needs to be reset several times per week. Not their fault (that's on Comcast), however the reset process is cumbersome because the power cord needs to be unplugged, then need to find a paper clip to stick into the small hole, then count to 15 seconds then plug the power cord back in. There should be a more convenient way especially since this is one of the most expensive models on the shelf. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Kind of a pain to set up as an access point, but as an extender it's great. Plug it it, set it up, good to go. I was getting 50-60 Mps in our far bedroom (out of a possible 200) After putting this in, getting 180 to 200. Just what I needed!

Was looking to be able to get access to home wi-fi outside. Selected this one due to range. Easy to set up, It is a little large, but plugged it in where you can't really see it, under a window behind a piece of furniture. Now we can sit on our back patio and further on our gazebo and use our own wi-fi.

This is my 2nd because the first one we bought works well. Easy to use, works well, intuitive light indicators. No need to download apps / enter passwords, etc if your router has WPS. Only downside is the price is almost the cost of another router.
