It did the trick

I put this in the center of the house or halfway to the place where the problem is like instructed....and it did the trick. Wifi works much better and no more dropping out. It was $30 or so more than the other extender, and well worth it.

The main router was in the living room of a 2 bedroom house and the 2 rooms were way to the back so the wireless signal was almost nonexistent, but once i bought this thing ,it was almost like i had a router in each room, signal was that good.

High hopes

Instructions were clear, premise made sense, device looked cool when I took it out of the box, it just didn’t work. To YouTube videos later and I still couldn’t get it to work. I’ve had mixed luck with Netgear stuff in the past, this particular device ranked on the lower end sad to say.

Internet connection upgrade

The people at the Warwick RI store were helpful. The installation was easy and the reception inside my house is better than the Cox modem with the Nighthawk router combo this replaced.

It does need to be close to the router but does cover the the entire house and then some.

As advertised!

Somehow distance and speeds aren't connected. So after meeting with the folks at BBuy I bought this and it works perfect, extending well into our outside patio area as a bonus.
