I bought the Net gear EX6250 a year ago. It went belly up about 4 weeks ago, so I bought this unit. However, it is inconsistent. It is not so problematic with working on my laptop, but streaming TV is a bit annoying. it buffers quite frequently and sometimes dumps the streaming service altogether.

Save Your Money

This is the second Netgear extender we've tried. No more Netgear for us. I gave up and bought a MUCH simpler and cheaper extender which was easy to set up, connects to my devices and works like a charm.
