NO BOOST HERE!!

Followed instructions and even placed it in different locations but still did not improve my signal and I even have a nighthawk router. FAIL… I hope I can find one that works as advertised.

Incomplete setup instructions..but it worked OK

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product worked well, BUT I had to do a "deep-dive" into the comments of a YouTube video to discover that the reset "button"- actually a paperclip hole- had to be held depressed for 15 seconds!! in order to enable a second attempt at NightHawk app setup procedure..a serious and frustrating omission in the instructions.

Wi Fi Extender

For the price I thought it would be a good addition but we still experienced buffering on streaming services. I returned it after about a week.

Failed to work as Advertised

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.did not deliver what was promised - while my Wifi was not the strongest upstairs, i never experienced drop outs and buffering issues before. After installing this, Netflix, Sling, Sonos, etc all had issues. Also, the laptop did not increase speed online I unplugged it last night to bypass it and just use my normal Wifi and no buffering, no drops, and speed is the same on the laptop online - I gave it the good 'ol college try and now I am past my return date so now I am out $160.00. Would highly NOT recommend this product to anyone.

WiFi Extender

Not working well at all

For the first few days, everything seemed great. It not only doesn't connect as it should, it frequently knocks my devices off WiFi and I have to go to my router and away from this device to get back on the network. Repeated efforts to reinstall, etc., have not helped. Right now it's unplugged and I am likely to return this. I have a suspicion my Spectrum router is part of the problem. If things straighten out, I will edit this review into something more positive.

Not Impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It works fine for day-to-day browsing, but it does drop the wifi connection every few hours. You wont notice it if only browsing, but if you are trying to keep a VPN connection going or a long FTP transfer you will notice. Netgear said it could happen if you had 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi on your main router (As have most modern routers today) and that a software fix was available in the latest release. After I upgraded the device, it made very little difference. I even switched off 5GHz and it still does the same annoying connection dropping every so often. I give it one star due to the ease of setting it up and the nice user interface.

A yard too far

Factory Error. Wrong model.

The problem with this one was it was in a box identified as an AC1900 but the item was labeled as an AC1700. The serial numbers matched but when installed the Netgear app recognized it as AC1700. I returned it.

Pick A different brand
