Don't bother
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have a wifi signal issue, just upgrade and buy a Google Wifi or of the like. I bought the Netgear and still had issues with signal loss. Bought the Google Wifi and NO issues at all.

Messed up software update and poor documentation

There are switches on it that are never described in the manual or the app it tells me to download. The software initially connected to the equipment, but then in final stages everything failed. It wants to connect to a different NETGEAR network then the nether unit created. Poor software. I dont care for products with this many bugs - AND it has buttons on it that I have no idea what they do. So RETURN RETURN RETURN.

Did not work

Do not buy

When he returned, we had a death in the family and he did not have time to install it as he had to come to his hometown to join the family. When he returned and connected it, it did not work, Best Buy refused to return it. He was given a card for merchandise only. I want my account credited for the amount as the amount is very high.

Too buggy

Research online shows people having the same problem and Netgear is not going to fix it. Reset extender several times. Used setup assistant and WPS connect. Still, have the same problem.
