I used this for gaming for many weeks as at the time, I was not close enough to hardwire my computer. The speeds were fantastic and barley lost any MB/S when using it. Highly recommend, even if your computer comes with a wireless adapter, I would bet this is would be a better option.

I love my Macbook Pro and without it I couldn't make a living. When the WiFi failed on it and I discovered that I couldn't either replace of upgrade the internal Airport Card, I had to find a solution. This did it and it's better and faster than the original WiFi card in my MacBook Pro. The only downside is that it uses up a USB port, but it's worth it for the connectivity.

I've always had issues with WiFi reception in my office. I had an older TPLink USB WiFi dongle and have always gotten 2 to 3 bar of reception at best. After purchasing this adapter my range has always been a constant max and my connection speed has more then doubled. Regardless of your house size and distance I have no doubt that this adapter would do the job.

I was skeptical if it was gonna perform well and I would say it performs amazingly and not just for the price. It is an amazing adapter and has awesome performance.

I got this to resolve an issue with my laptop’s internal antenna. Works great plugged directly into the laptop. Even better with the included dock and extension. I added a longer USB-3 extension to put the device on top of an entertainment center and it picks up far more networks than the laptop did at the same position (pre-antenna issue).

Finally a solution to my slow WiFi on my desktop PC! Had been struggling with slow speeds despite paying for 1300 Mbps service and was considering having an Ethernet line run from my modem, which would have cost $300. I hooked up this receiver and my WiFi immediately jumped to 300-400 Mbps. Problem solved!

Replaced an older model Linksys wireless adapter that wasn't compatible with Windows 10 with this one. Setup was very easy and it works perfectly. My only gripe is the Netgear software always pops up at start up and you have to close it. Wish it would automatically minimize. Overall, a great wireless adapter.

The antenna strength on the Netgear Nighthawk AC1990 is awesome. I use it on my laptop from my office on the top floor of my house and the wireless modem is located down in the basement. I have 250 meg service through infinity and this adapter allows me to surf at the full 250 meg, even though I am three floors away from the router! Highly recommend.

This took my gaming pc’s shoddy built-in wifi adapter speed from 0.8 mbps to 88-100. I owe this adapter my life, my computer is a real computer now Stylish too!

This USB Wifi adapter offered me just the solution I needed. I had an old model of this adapter that failed after years of use, also maybe a chocolate milk bath. The new version works well and I have had no issues. Love the fact you can plug in directly or you have a magnetic base to plug it into.
