This combo does everything and more for my internet needs, security, speed, connectivity, and coverage. Though a little pricey but well worth it. If my IP would release my offered speed it would, I'm sure it would hit the mark with no problem.

Setup was easy. It took longer to call internet provider to activate it than actual setup of the router. Works great and can see the difference in speed and connection with this router compared to my old one.

Comcast compatible. All in one WiFi modem and router. Will handle the speed plus if I upgrade my internet it will handle in the future. Easy setup. Must call XFINITY to finish the setup. Will certainly pay for itself in just a year vs renting .

This router is working well. It seems to be stronger than the old one which I had to rent from Comcast for $10.00 a month. I bought this one to get rid of that charge and to strengthen the WIFI throughout my house. It was pricey and will take 18 months to pay for itself. I am expecting it to last several years. The setup was easy once we got over the hump of getting it registered with Comcast. Afterwards, it was a breeze to get all the devices logged back in to the WIFI.

It's very easy to use, I like how it's a modem and wireless router all in one (one less box on my floor and 2 fewer cords). The range is good, I have a 1500 sq ft townhome and it has great wireless coverage. It's also been quite reliable and haven't had to really power cycle it to get it to keep working as the connection has been consistent.

My old N300 was rock solid, but 3 years old and only N speed. I tried a "refurbished" AC1750 modem/router online, and had nothing but headaches and disconnects. Bit the bullet and bought this AC1900 at the BestBuy store. Hooked it up with all my stuff, and not a single hiccup since (1 week). No restarts, no disconnects. And it is 2-3 times faster on the 2.4 ghz band, and I get 150-160 mps on the 5 ghz band. The range is good too. Don't hesitate.

After being with centuryLink for over a decade, I decided it was enough. paying for internet that works only half the time was getting too old. Never really made a changed till they decide to charge me double for very slow speed. Got rid of century link and went with comcast. This Net gear router modem was on top of comcast list so I figured why not. Beside, for the price of the router it will pay for itself in two months if I had stayed with centurylink. The setup was very easier, speed was insanely good on 5ghz 2.4 ghz has plenty of range. I've had it for over a month and haven't notice any speed drops or cut offs. On 2.4 GHZ I was getting around 70-85 Mbps and 170Mbps on 5 ghz. I think its worth the money if speed is important to you. Get this router and you won't be disappointed. Since this router is on comcast's list the customer support was top notch. IME don't buy a router not on their list otherwise they will make excuse to not ton help you troubleshoot if you have any issues.

The range on this one is excellent! My home is ~2500 sq ft and I don't need an extender. I placed the modem on my main floor and my wireless TV and other devices in the basement still get a great signal. Mind you, the bandwidth of course varies at different locations in the house, especially the farther I get from the modem, but performance is excellent. I'm very pleased.

This is an outstanding cable modem/router. It performs flawlessly, is quite fast, and saves me from having to rent a cable company-provided device, with a break-even period of fifteen months. It was incredibly easy to configure and use. I have 40+ years of IT work experience, and was so impressed have since bought a second, identical device for another family member.

It’s been a few weeks and I have zero complaints. I’ll keep is short.
-Extremely easy set up with Comcast, didn’t even need to call them just used app.
-Fast speeds: it just is so much better than the router modem I was renting from Comcast.
-App is helpful
-I have a small 2 bedroom spot I live in and it’s perfect for us, full bars in all rooms.

This modem / router combo delivers the full internet speed we're paying for over a very good range. The setup was extremely easy. You can go right through their nighthawk app which is really easy to use. I recommend this to anyone with about 3,000 ft² or less. The signal also goes through a wall through a garage and into a workshop in the backyard. The range is great.

I had the same router for a decade prior to buying this. My old one could no longer handle the internet at an adequate speed so I bought this new one. Immediate improvement internet faster than ever upload and download speeds are lighting fast. The nighthawk app that’s advertised with this device DOESN’T WORK! But you don’t need to to set up the device and have it function.

The Good: Installation to get up and running quickly was a snap. In fact, we switched to Cox Cable (yes, it works with Cox Cable), and the technician got it going for me. It took him about 10 minutes (this includes opening the package). The dual band seems to be quite an advantage, since my house is definitely the crowned "WIFI King" in our neighborhood (7 tablets, 2 smartphones, ChromeCast, Firestick, Roku, and more). If WIFI doesn't work, we sit in a dark corner and mope :)
The BAD: Advertised as acting as a DLNA server. I guess it's programmed for such, but getting it to work, and remain stable was a lost cause. I have another media drive that can do the same (uses Twonky), and it has been in service for quite a few years, and remains rock solid. The Nighthawk simply gave up the ghost on this feature, and I haven't had the hours available necessary to try and get it working properly. On the surface, this feature seems easy and straightforward, but the truth is, it fails miserably at acting as a media server.
However, overall, I would say it's primary purpose to act as a speedy provider of internet service throughout the house - it does this extremely well. I have an old house with thick walls, and I'm able to get reception all over (2600 sq ft). I do utilize a repeater at the far (opposite) end of the house to carry the signal strong enough to reach the backyard (wireless music system for the patio).

I've been looking to upgrade my router for quite some time. I had my previous Netgear router for 6 years. While it still worked, I had planned to upgrade my internet speed and wanted something that could take advantage of it. I also wanted to cut down on the number of electronic devices I have sitting around. So, this modem/router combo was perfect, and I had been eyeing for quite a while.
Pros: Fast, easy to set up, and 2 products in one.
Cons: Not really a con, but I've had a couple of drop outs since I installed this thing, hopefully it won't continue in the future. Also, can not upgrade the firmware at will, at least not to my research. You have to wait for the internet company to release any firmware updates which is a bummer. Oh, and any mobile devices wirelessly connected to this thing occasionally have dropouts as well, something I never experienced on my previous router.
Overall though, I'm happy I made this purchase and can't wait to take advantage of it's speed potential once I upgrade my internet package.

I've had this since January 2019 and have had nothing since the day purchased it. I'm still using it for more than 2 years and 4 months. I would say the best router I'm using for a long time. This model worth buying & save your ISP monthly rental. I'm a certified IT professional. Do not hesitate and buy, buy, and Best Buy!!

Easy setup, the hardest part was working with my ISP, but that is not a reflection of the product.
After I got it going I ran a few speed tests, the speeds were faster than I was previously getting.
My favorite part was the reach, I had several dead spots in my apartment with the old router I had. Those are all gone with this one! I get a good connection everywhere

We purchased this because our prior WiFi quit working. This covers our entire house without adding extenders. It took a bit to get it connected. The performace has been very good. No lag in connectivity with as many as 8 devices being connected at a time. Definitely recommend this product.

Finally, I got speed, security, ease of configuration, dual bands (Wifi and Guest Wifi), and range. No more monthly fees and with my modem registered to netgear, it will receive updates automatically. I am pushing this device to the max and it handles everything. Parental Control is easy to setup as well, so you can keep kids from wandering off to bad sites by accident or purpose!
