We finally cut cable and decided to purchase this router instead of renting from Xfinity. So far it’s been working great. Unfortunately about 18 months later, it seems to be having issues and may need to replace it. Also I don’t like the nightHawk app much. It’s not intuitive and they upgrade it in 2020 and I thought the original app was easier.

A great router/modem with incredible download speeds and range. I purchased it to install wireless cameras out side the house and getting 175 Mbps outside and 215-225 Mbps inside the house. I replaced my Comcast modem, which was erratic and slow. The Nighthawk connected to the Comcast wifi and needed no support from them. The easiest install that I've done.

Highly recommend you own this product! I had previously purchased an Arris router and this product is far more superior and easy to set up. This is something you can keep for a while and customer service is spectular.

Awesome router! I could tell the difference immediately working from home with a gamer, and streaming movies/shows simultaneously during COVID-19. Do not forget to contact your internet service provider and proved them with the serial number so that your equipment can be activated immediately!

This modem/router is fabulous! The strength of its signal is like the Rock of Gibraltar, absolutely amazing. My cousin Orlo, who builds his own combo modem/routers, recommended this baby. Orlo was right on the money about this model.

Once we realized we needed a router that wasn’t for modem use this one has been working great with no issues as of yet. Our apartment complex has its own internet and that’s why we had to make sure we chose a router that didn’t say modem in it.

Got this item to replace a rental from Comcast. Comcast has gone up on this rental twice in the last year. Give me a break. Anyway this wonderful item replaces the Comcast rental but download speeds have increased and have no trouble with WiFi throughout the house and yard. Great item easy install and I am thrilled/

This was recommended by Comcast It's the best I finally don't have to pay monthly anymore no more rental it's worth its weight in gold I ask all the guys at Best Buy even the Geek Squad guys they all recommend this net Gear Modem Even has a router price was fantastic under $200 you don't have to keep renting You're better off purchasing

this router is super fast with an amazing connection

I bought a house with nearly 1000 sq ft up stairs and down stairs. I bought the WiFi extender because I thought the Nighthawk would have trouble with the signal down stairs. Not so! I returned the extender and the Netgear router is fine for the whole house.

I purchased this modem for a family member who had xfinity installed in their home. The results after installation were fantastic. From internet connection to on demand on their directv service the signal strenght is unmatched. A great choice for the xfinity service they have.

After reading reviews, we decided to go with this. It has been a bit now and we have no regrets. We have xfinity and buying this is saving us money, it will pay for itself quickly. We are gamers and have had no lagging! Wifi reaches a huge area. Works great with multiple devices connected to it. The setup was super simple too.

I'm definitely not the guy to ask about routers but this has worked extremely well for me. Gets rid of an independent modem and kills it as far as bandwidth and staying connected. No issues with having to reconnect. If you're not tech savvy, this is a great purchase to keep your router out of sight and out of kind.
