bought this to replace my ixfinity $14 a month rental I plugged it in and bang I was running just that easy. of course you have to use the password, it took longer to reset the password on all my stuff than it did to get it up. if you want a router and have xfinity this one is what you want.

I have a 300 meg connection via Cox Cable. I’m running 1 desktop PC, 1 laptop, 2 IPads, 2 IPhones and 2 printers. My relatives also add several devices when they visit. There has been no degradation in speed/overall performance. There is no problem with dropped connections or inability to connect from anywhere in my house or on my property.

You get what you pay for. I bought a less costly modem and the max Mbps wireless rate was less than 100. Bought this modem instead and the broadcasts output is high; wireless download speeds are 200+ Mbps (that is my Xfinity plan) and that is what I get -- not the 50-60 Mbps like the other cheaper modem. No drops, great signal strength.

Pretty solid for the price, it is both a router and a modem.

Very happy with this router/modem. Company provided modem worked fine, but the router was horrible and my phones wouldn't connect, kept saying the IP was unknown...ugh! Hooked this up and no problems at all. Very easy to hook up.

Modem performs as well as equipment from COMCAST if not better. Boots quickly and easy to setup.

I recently purchased the Netgear - Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router as it came highly recommended. It was easy to set up and provides a great signal throughout the house (3 stories, 4,000 sq ft.). Currently we have 2 computers, 1 TV, and several phones connected to the WiFi signal - all working properly.

Not much of a Netgear person but decided to give it a try. Wow! This product not only exceeded my expectations but went the extra distance. No more buffering and no more weak spots in my house. Makes me reconsider the NETGEAR name brand. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great cable modem/router.

Bought this to replace the Spectrum router with which I would lose the 2ghz signal in my master bedroom even though it's not that far. But now the 5ghz signal is fully connected in all areas in the room. If it helps for your purchase my home is 1500-1600 Sq ft, and it is definitely an upgrade

I was worried about getting good wireless coverage using a unit with no external antennas but have no fear. Coverage was good except one small area in the back of the house which was already an issue. The combined unit freed up space and I don't pay the rental fees. I'm getting the same speeds I pay for Comcast Boost and this unit supported those speeds.

We purchased this modem for our beach house. We did not want to spend a lot of money but desired decent performance. We got both with this unit. We typically will have 4 or 5 people online at any given time and the performance seems just fine. We have minimum internet speed as well that is provided by our internet provider.

The speed is treat over wifi and very easy setup. No drop zones

Speed and range was much better then what Spectrum gave me.

We bought this to replace the comcast gateway that we were renting, and it works wonderfully. reaches farther than the gateway in our house. The only issue i have is that the gateway came with an app to help with parental locks and with this one you have to pay a monthly subscription.

This router has excellent speeds and range. I strongly recommend it!
