Got this to replace my old modem and wifi (two separate units). Great router with accompanying app that makes setup easy. Ability to great guest wi-fi as well which comes handy.

It's a space saver and does what it is advertised to do. We are not of the age to easily adapt to new technology. However the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 seems to be a great choice for combining modem and router into one, and a no brainer saving a monthly equipment rental fee from an internet provider.

Got this at the recommendation of my cable guy to replace the one provided by my cable company. Made a huge difference. The old one used to drop connection all the time. I haven’t had that problem since installing this modem. Sleek and easy to use.

This is my 2nd Netgear router and modem and the WiFi range is excellent. The install was easier and with a 2300 sq ft 3 floor house it works great. We have a 4K TV that streams plus 2 other TV’s (2nd flr and basement) along with 3 laptops, 3 smart phones and an iPad with no WiFi issues.

So I purchased this to replace and older Motorola model hoping to improve some performance issues I was having. The range on this unit was significantly better i was able to get a good signal throughout my house, it has alot more options and parental controls. The bad part of it is that you have to reset modem every few days in order to be able to log into the router and reset the internet speed as it's reduced. Also the time is off and there's no way to change it to the correct time. Finally Netgear customer service is horribly good luck getting ahold of them to try and resolve anything If Netgear is able to resolve these issues it would be a great product.

I have rented my modem/router from X finity for year. The best buy agent help me pick this one out. I took it to Xfinity to Registered it with them,took it home Follow the instructions that the agent from Best Buy gave me and set it up. It was so easy and I'm not tech sabie.

I had a modem from my cable company that I was paying for monthly not to mentioned our Internet was not working most of the time due to a weak signal. we purchased this modem/router to help us get the best of what we were paying for and it worked great I would recommend buying this it pays for itself if your renting one!

Bought it to replace my old very slow modem. I had an external router, but since I was replacing my modem, decided to buy a unit with modem built in. Very satisfied with it. Used a Wi-Fi strength app and walked around my house. No loss of signal. Very strong signal. Highly recommend this.

Works fine. I debated about getting the mesh type system but this has done well. I have one area of my house where the signal must go through a brick wall, and it does not do very well. Through walls works fine for an extended distance.

I tried a mesh system to replace this, and it did not work as well. I have a 2 story house with detached garage, and get good signal throughout house and in room over garage. Have over 20 devices connected (Computers, Printers, TVs, phones, tablet, smart outlets, Ring cameras, smart lights) and no problems with signal.

Got the new modem/router to replace our one that was given to us by the internet company. It has worked so much better than the old one. If you are looking for an affordable upgrade, this is your choice

NetGear has a history of producing some great modems and routers. I have never had any major problems with their products. When Comcast was going to charge me some unreasonable monthly fee for the use of their own modem, I chose to purchase my own. This one is great - fast internet service and no issues so far.

If you have a decent-sized home and are concerned about Wireless coverage, this will give you the largest footprint of any all-in-one Router/Modem on the market today with the highest speeds currently available. If you want to stop paying your Cable company to "rent" your inferior modem, this is the BEST option IMHO. :)

This is an amazing router. I have about 20 connected devices in my home. This handles them all flawlessly. My ISP is Comcast and I pay for the blast service (150mbps) I get a bit faster speeds with this modem/router. I also get to eliminate the rental fee yay!

Working well since the Netgear support assisted in the setup. I get great coverage in a 2300 sq. ft. home.

I have Cox 100 Mbps connection at home, setup was easy - just had to call Cox customer service and they required the serial number and MAC address from the label on the router. Once completed, I am enjoying speeds of upto 140Mbps download on 802.11ac mobile devices. Everything I expected from the product.
