Excellent device. Easy setup, and it runs really well. A very big improvement over my former combo modem/router, both in speed and reliability.

Recently moved and signed up for Cox Cable. They provide media content, internet and phone service. The cable ready, modem/router unit they provided gave only 15-25 Mbps speeds for a line contracted to provide 50 Mbps. At least once a day, I would have to reset the modem. After 2 visits by Cox representatives, I decided to return the Cox modem/router. Installation of the Nighthawk was very simple to do. Since replacing the Cox devise, I have consistently gotten over 50 Mbps with speeds hitting 65 mbs. In almost 2 months, I have not had to restart it once. Range seems very good with good signal strength through out our 2000 sq ft condo and into the yard.

I'm a Spectrum customer at time of writing. I prefer having choice and control over my networking hardware - I'm picky, I'm quite technically able, and I hate having things hidden because of OEM or ISP restrictions. Setup on this was dead simple - the only thing that made it take any time was a little glitch with the activation page for spextrum on first logon, which was a Spectrum issue, not a modem issue. Performance so far has been great, with no complaints about coverage in a 2br apartment.

Great router works awesome with Comcast. I’m getting over 600mbs with this thing. It’s powering 15 devices at my house and no issues.

I wish that I'd bought this sooner! I was renting the Comcast router, and every time I tried to stream something, it either wouldn't load or kept stopping and buffering, making it unwatchable. This router is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I can stream anything. And watch it with no annoying buffering, lagging, or stopping. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it sooner. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Don't hesitate to buy this if you are experiencing the same problems that I was. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with this purchase!

This was an upgrade from my older netgear wifi router. Easy setup and noticeable difference on performance, no more buffering while multiple devices connected.

There is only one room in my house that doesn't get as good of reception. Other than that, the signal is strong all around. This router/modem works with Comcast Xfinity Internet service, so you can install this, register the Netgear router over the phone with Comcast Xfinity and complete the setup. Send back the Comcast router and you're now saving the equipment rental fee. Keep this for a year and you'll almost make your money back, keep it for two years and you will be making money by saving the $10+ /month rental fee.

Very easy to setup. Offers 4 wired access lines as well as two WiFi channels. I get the speeds I pay for and have experienced no technical issues thus far

I was looking at purchasing a modem for use with Xfinity's 150 mbps network and wanted to maximize the speed I would get out of my wireless connection since I am a heavy consumer of streamed data. I read a few reviews and decided on this model, due to the speed and ability to cover my entire house. This modem was an excellent choice. I was thoroughly impressed once I set it up, all my devices connected to the 5ghz connection are actually exceeding the advertised Comcast speeds regularly pulling down 160-180 mbps. I have the router installed in my office loft on the second floor and am able to get a constant connection in my basement and outside without any issues.

This unit has worked really nice so far! Could not take paying Xfinity another month for a rental modem with a crappy signal. The Netgear set up really easy but BEWARE...having Xfinity then recognize it and update your account is a whole other process of frustration. So far, speed has been great and no connection issues at all. This is not a modem if you have telephone service as well so keep that in mind. Feel like the cost is still high especially with how fast technology needs updating.

We knew we needed a hardware upgrade for a couple of years. We went from an Asus voice/modem from Xfinity and Linksys router, to THIS amazing Netgear modem/router combo! Who needs a landline anymore? After Speedtest, our Xfinity speeds are faster & more efficient! Perfect for working from home, browsing, videos, streaming with the dual bands! We don't have any gamers in the household. VERY EASY to setup & manage users on network!

This router provide a strong and stable signal for streaming video and game. Also the range is wide. It is good router and easy to setup with internet provider

You get what you pay for. And in this case it is good. Easy set up, and works perfect. Has it for a month now and would not take it back or trade for anythung. Totally worth the price.

We needed a faster, more powerful modem router combo for our home because our new home is more spread out than the two story house we moved from and we also ran into problems with our previous router not having enough channels for all the devices we were connecting. Now with this upgraded Nighthawk combo we don't need any WiFi Extender, downloads are smoother, and connections have been flawless!

Bought the Nighthawk AC1900 Cable Modem Router a month ago. I was able to install it myself as I was anticipating cutting the cord with my cable carrier. It went off without a hitch with the cooperation of the cable company. I found that it was powerful enough not to need any extenders or mesh for my house. As a result, I see that the picture is much clearer than with the Comcast Cable Modem. It is very fast and I have cut the cord from cable for almost a month. Have been very happy.

This seems to be a great router/modem combo device at a somewhat reasonable cost that is easy to set-up and use. I just got Spectrum 200 mbps service installed and this router handles it easily and we can have at least 3 devices using it simultaneously without slowing anything down. It replaced an older router/modem that just wasn't working as well with the new speed. And it can handle faster speeds should I ever need to up my mbps. No issues with it.
