I had a motorla surfboard before upgrading when I found out that the current modem i had was only good for 10MBps when i was paying for 20. Thankfully twc provided information of what routers are compatible and then the research started. I found this and one other to be the one that i would need. So took my chances with the netgear and its been blazing fast. Since then i have upgraded to the 50MBps and it handles everything i throw at it which include 2 desktops, a laptop, 3 phones, and two tablets with no issues not even much load time with hd videos off of youtube.

Very efficient modem and router in one. Works great with surprising range. Handles multiple users doing meetings, streaming and more without any stress or lagging. Honestly it works better than expected. The only knock by the helpful Best Buy associate was the potential for the router or modem to malfunction and then both are down. No problems yet.

I purchased this... being a person who has no idea in regards to this technology. Well, it was an easy setup. Connects great especially because I work remotely from home. I especially love the parental control, where I can turn off my kiddos internet connectivity during the night to make sure they go to sleep and they're not browsing throughout the night. Especially during quarantine and you're a parent who works from home. Works great! Love it.

I recently moved into a 1200 sq ft apartment with my family while I’m having a home built and I needed some internet for work and my kids school. I got xfinity 100 mbps speed and to avoid the monthly equipment charge I purchased this netgear router. This was super easy to setup myself and I have 100mbps speed in every room of my apartment. I can’t complain and I’m super happy with this purchase. Thanks Netgear!

Bought this so my mom wouldn’t have to pay to rent her cable modem. It’s reliable, fast and ridiculously easy to set up. 5 stars!

I bought this router for the purpose of trying to cut corners with the cable company. This thing not only works better than the usual mediocre equipment that you get with any company anytime you elect to use their equipment. The thing works like a charm. Not only that but it has the ability to keep up with the advances in technology. Let's be honest, you are not getting download speeds of 1900 mps. It'll be a while before technology like that is offered to the public. So for home usage this is perfect. Not only that but if you combine this with a streaming device such as the amazon fire stick or apple tv etc. then the money you'll save from that will pay for itself in a couple months. Totally worth it I'd say.

This router is great. It’s very easy to set up and is compatible with our internet provider. We immediately noticed a difference in our internet speeds. We used to get around 170 mbs at best and it was in the 400’s when we put this new one. I highly recommend this router.

I forget the name of the guy who helped me at Best Buy, but I was tied between this Router and another. He made me aware of the differences and how I’d be more future proofed with this particular model, which fit perfectly into my budget. I absolutely love how simple it was to set up. Netgear’s Genie mobile app made it a breeze. I don’t think it took me longer than 10-15 minutes to be up and running on my new XFINITY account at my new apartment following the provided instructions. This was my first time buying my own Modem/WiFi Router for my home internet service so I was unsure of what kind of hoops I’d potentially have to jump through to get a 3rd party Router up and running. Fortunately all went smoother than I imagined. Got tired of paying monthly for some rental bs. Now I have more control over my service at home and the dual band is great so that some of my devices than need the higher bandwidth can connect to the 5Ghz connection and those that don’t, to the 2.4Ghz. Excellent ping when gaming and 4K streams smoothly with no stuttering or buffering on all my paid services. As a note I have the 100Mbs service. Hope this review helps someone out there! Definitely recommend looking at this model if you don’t plan to spend more than $200 or so.

I am not a techie person so I depended on the reputation of this product from others who are when I bought it. The customer service was fantastic. My rep set up a 3-way call with a rep from my internet provider and got the router up and working in no time.

Excellent product. I would completely recommend it and most Netgear products. The setup was fairly simple and customer service is excellent and extremely efficient.

I chose this Router/Modem combo as the upgrade to my NETGEAR C3700 as it was no longer doing the job now that I have been working from home and it was 6 years old. The NETGEAR - Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router with 24 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem has been wonderful. It was easy to connect and my streaming/speed as increased immensely. I am a Spectrum Customer (only because I have no choice) and this product is compatible with their services.

Our old router took a crap. We got this one and it works great. We normally have 4 phones, 2 game systems and 3 tvs hooked to it at all times. My some plays his xbox x on line all the time no lag. It also has controls to turn devices off when its bedtime.

I went through a good amount of reviews and lists to decide on this one. It is worth the decent price and can cover more than I thought it would. Security is easy to set up. Range is good. And hardly any issues with drops. Looks darn sleek too. Lights are functional and tells you simply whats happening and whats not. Easy to connect to your existing wires and all that jazz. All and all its just excellent in quality for your money.

Very easy to set up, no dead spots in other rooms. Don't forget to get a coax cable because it doesn't come with one.

It's a great modem/router. I was using the gateway device supplied by Xfinity and it was slow and I would constantly lose wifi connection. The internet speed of my wired computer has increased dramatically. My wireless devices no longer lose connection and run faster. Would recommend the Nighthawk to anyone looking for a gateway device that won't break the bank but still delivers great performance.

Bought unit to replace 6-year old Netgear C3000 unit which didn't keep up with faster speeds through our Internet provider. Extra bells-and-whistles which I haven't accessed/implemented yet. You need to read instructions and web advice regarding this model in order to install this device without glitches. I was able to get this up and running within a half hour. Happy with product - online speed test showed improved performance.
