I have a lot of smart home gear and not a very large home. After switching to this I noticed when I would try to cast to my TVs and other devices from my phone it would lag, disconnect or just plain not work. I bought this ad an alternative to my cable company's leased router and ended up returning it after a week and a half and getting a mesh wifi system which works flawlessly now. This product is good if you just want to get a decent wifi router/modem and not have to pay a lease fee with your internet provider.

One thing I noticed that pleasantly surprised me was that if none of my WiFi items are active, the Router will shut down the WiFi signal. As soon as one of them comes up, the WiFi signal is restored. A bit more money than most similar devices but I think worth every penny.
