At infrequent intervals the unit starts to hum and increases to a buzz. By turning on a desk light near and on the same circuit as the router, the noise instantly stops. turning off the light ,the router remains quiet until the next occurrence maybe a day or a week later. I've been in touch with the Techs at Netgear but so far any suggested remedies have failed.

This item came highly recommended by the Best Buy staff, and we are very pleased. It is working well, and even the formerly dead spots in our home are now able to receive service. The installer was extremely helpful with answering questions and demonstrating it's use. 5 stars!

Been very pleased with it so far.
