Great product bad app

It works really well with my spectrum internet and was practically a plug and play. I'm having issues with the nighthawk app not letting me update the routers software so the app is useless but other than that a good quality product.

Good alternative to modem—>router connection

I did have a very old router and the cable company confirmed the modem could be updated. I tried updating the router to a used one that was newer but still had my speeds cut in half downstream. Changed to the nighthawk modem router and constant my get 95-114mbps over WiFi. I have had one instance in about a month span where speeds dropped significantly and power cycling the modem/router fixed the issue. This is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars - not sure how stable it will be for the future, but that was the only hiccup.

Space Shuttle Download Speeds

This modem has surpassed my expectations and if the C3700 is an indicator; in 2028, this baby should still be giving me great service!
