    I had a previous modem and wireless router but my internet connection was horrible. I thought it was spectrum, but decided I would upgrade just to see what happened. The upgrade increased my connection.

    Purchased to replace rented Xfinity modem/router combo. Works great, no wifi issues. Have three different devices connected directly as well. Slim profile is good too, doesn't take up much space. The Netgear genie app is useful too, helps with setup as well as looking at what is connected and your totals for upload and download.

    Netgear has always been in the game with internet devices! If you are stuck with cable internet…do not use the cable companies device when this thing is available. Plenty of bandwidth and stable!

    We bought this I order to stop renting from the cable company,and so far it's alright. We were experiencing some outages only the internet, but I guess that is to be expected. Not sure if it is because everyone is at home right now in quarantine (not sure if that matters), but it does seem to have gotten a little better. I would recommend if you don't have a lot of devices.
