W0RKS GREAT SO FAR. IT WAS AN EASY SET-UP WITH NETGEAR ASSISTANCE. MINOR GLITCH BUT IT WAS EASILY CORRECTED AND NOT PART OF THE FUNCTION

Installation: Installation is very easy. With Technology in this generation, all you will need is a smart phone. Instructions and Manuals were easy to understand and you will have your cable and wifi less than 5 minutes. Signal: Signal is amazing! Price may not be that wonderful but you will not be disappointed once you have this product. I live in a one bedroom one bathroom with 7 devices (2 iPhones, 2 MacBooks, 2 iPads, and an Apple TV) and not once has there been a sign of the signal slowing down. Whether you are in your living room, bedroom, bathroom, and outside, it still works amazingly. Pros: Installation | Signal | Mobile App | 2 in 1 Cable Modem and WiFi Router. Cons: Vertical Standing only. Unable to lay down Horizontally.

Easy to install. Notice improvement immediately. Best advice - you most likely will need to contact your internet provider. For example, Cox does not update their acceptable list.

I was looking for ways to start cutting cost then one day I realized I was paying for a home phone and cable modem box and really didn't need either one anymore. Hole phones went to cell phone and removal of the cable box allowed me to turn in the cable modem. It was so simple to install basically hooked up and called Timewarner. 20 mins up and running. Best part I had old "n" wireless now I have "ac" so out speeds at the house tripled.. Also for some reason Timewarner is not able to rate limit so I am getting 75 Meg download speeds and 8 Meg upload.. Huge bonus!!! All in all this box will pay for its self in 6 months... Very happy!!!

I had to update my cable modem so I purchased this net gear. I’ve heard wonderful things about net gear so I had to give this a shot. I installed it myself in 30 minutes. My internet speeds increased and my WiFi coverage got a whole lot bigger. I can stream 4K with no problem. I can walk about 150ft away from my home and still get WiFi. I have a smart home with all kinds of WiFi devices and Alexa. Before I purchased this modem Alexa would tell me that my internet was offline and my ring would not work due to slow or poor signal. Now I have no issues at all. I am officially a net gear fan.

When our internet started fading, it was either our router or our modem. Or our modem or our router. It was a headache to figure out which one so we bit the bullet and just bought a new system. We haven't been high on the "all-in-one" systems before but combining this one with the four-year warranty, it pays for itself in no time. Modems last, routers tend to be replaced every three to four years and this one purchase was half of buying each piece separately. Seemed like a no-brainer and the install was a breeze. Say goodbye to a bit more of that wired jungle behind your devices!

I have had Netgear product before and this one doesn’t disappoint either. Easy to set up. Didn’t even need to call Xfinity to register my device Would like to see more filtering options for built in FW perspective but overall great router and covers my entire townhome.

I got this as I was tired of paying the cable company $10/month to use their equipment. This modem-router has since paid for itself. We can stream and play games all at the same time and there are no issues with the connection, whether with an ethernet cable or wirelessly.

Switched over from the rented Comcast modem to this one and it works great throughout my apartment. Easy to install as well. If you have a larger home would recommend adding up a WiFi extender to give you the best coverage.

This cable modem/router combination was easy to setup, is very fast, and has been very stable...no dropouts! Excellent product...and it cuts $10.00 per month off my TWC bill by not paying their monthly fee for their equipment.

Used this to replace my previous modem and router. Has excellent coverage and have been able to get rid of my wifi extender. Everything contacts without slowing down anything else.

Purchased the Nighthawk router and very happy I did. Installation was simple and so were instructions, worked just fine immediately and has been trouble free. Product was as advertised.

I was constantly being told by my cable provider to upgrade my modem. I finally decided to and purchased the Netgear router. I'm very glad I did, extremely fast and easy to set up.

I like everything about this item. I was going to buy a separate Cable Modem & Router but my budget didn't allow it at the time. I decided to purchase a Cable Modem Router Combination because it was a cheaper option. I would buy any of these products & recommend them to family/friends.

This modem and set up combo works great. Needed something that hold all my household needs, especially since I was cancelling cable. On the 5ghz I have my tv and Xbox. On the 2.4ghz I have 4 smartphones, 3 smart TVs, 1 fire stick and two tablets. No issues connecting any devices and streaming devices. The upload speed is really fast as well as the download speed. I love knowing I can slow the speed on everybody’s else’s devices or completely kick them of if I really wanted to lol. If your looking for a great router and modem I highly recommend this. Also make sure you call your internet provider with the serial and Mac number so they can send the internet signal to your new device

I highly recommend this router modem combo. Easy installation. I no longer have any connectivity issues. Also, has a great user app. Reasonable price and quality performance.

I upgraded from a telephone wire modem/router which was not providing the MBs advertised to this cable/modem/router. It is providing ABOVE expectations at 100MB to 1GB through EN wire and 115 to 350MBs wireless, along w/a cable providing 100+MBs input. One EN w/Cat6 supports sec. sys, one EN w/Cat7 supports smart 4K TV with instantaneous streaming for Netflix and Prime video. My next step is to stream a 4K source and the Cat7 is ready to receive/send. The only con: router display lights could be a little larger. There is only 1 EN/LAN light for 4 connections. I would rather have a light for each connection, to light when in use. This is just me, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it for any home network.
