This router works well. I was having problems with a dropped connection toward the back of the house (the router is in the front of the house. Everything now works as expected.

Bought it for my son for his gaming and school work so he would have a better wi-fi connection. It seems to be working fine and it was recommended by a friend.

When I first purchased this router I had issues, I contacted their support and they had me change some settings. That fixed the problem until about a month ago. Now the router drops connection at minimum 2-3 times a day. It has to be power cycled constantly. If I play any games on the router it disconnects 100% of the time. I can't connect to the wifi if I am only 2 rooms away with only 2 walls separating me and the router. And now that my 90 day support is up I can't even contact Netgear anymore. This was the worst router I have ever owned. If zero stars was an option this would get it.

Did not live up to it's name unfortunately. would not stay connected to ISP, tested it thoroughly and no joy. In the end switched to ISP provided Wi-Fi and everything works great now. I so wanted to have this work, but just have not been successful with Netgear for the last two router's we have owned.

This is one bad puppy with nice extras. I was having problems with my previous router with reliability and coverage. I bit the bullet with this bad boy and solve all of my problems.

This goes through walls like a hot knife through butter. Great router! I not only "would recommend this to a friend," I actually DID recommend this to a friend! That was this purchase.

Netgear is my favorite router. It provides extremely fast internet access and runs all of my devices simultaneously both inside and outside the house.

Because I have always been with a cable company offering the internet, I haven’t needed to get a router myself. This router is working perfect. Absolutely no complaints. Thank you!

So far, I've found the Nighthawk improving wireless connectivity in my home. Previously, signal would drop several times a day, but haven't yet encountered this with the Nighthawk.

This is a really decent router, but I have an older house with brick walls, and I believe that's why it struggled to reach the opposite end of my house (which is only 1,600 sq ft). So if you don't have brick walls, this is probably a good pick for you. Otherwise, I would spend a little extra and buy the NETGEAR - Orbi AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System. That router is amazing.

Awesome AWESOME AWESOME!!! This wireless router is an upgrade from my Apple Time Capsule. I was able to plug in an external hard drive for my macbook to backup to as if nothing never happened!

I have had problems getting a signal with my AT&T WiFi supplied system. I switched to Xfinity and installed my own Netgear 2300 wifi router. It has increased the distance and speed tremendously!

It does what it's made to do. But if you power down the unit. It takes 1/2 an hour to get restarted. Not sure why or how to get the wifi to back online when off button is pushed.

Bought this router to replace one that was cutting out from time to time. This model has a great range, wireless works great even at 100ft from the base. Would recommend.

We had a little trouble at first Is not as easy to set up, but when we were at the store they Told us that it was for up to 6 devices it actually supports more than 6

Great but not as much as I hoped. I have a big house over 2,000 and many products. This worked but not as well as I hoped it would.

Holding up well considering reception in area varies. My older computer started not doing well on it but with new computer enjoying my on line time.

I was told by Cox I needed a router so I bought one and it ended up being something wrong with the modem which they ended up replacing. The router works fine but the service from Cox is awful.

We didn't even realize that the wi fi signal was as weak as it was until we bought and installed this Router. What a major improvement!! We are very happy with our purchase.
